Hi guys for those of you that have received your cards, did you get a letter first stating your card has been approved before getting the card in the mail?

I got the letter 2 days before getting the actual care. Got approval on the 12/13 and on the got noticed couple days later they sent card.

I woke up this morning and quess what happened?

My USCIS app told me that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview!

My EAD/AP got approved 15 days ago (even though it was later than normally with "75 days" of processing time)

Looks like they work on my case although I had a RFE (we forgot to send in a written explanation why my husband doesn't have to pay tax (military+benefits) moreover, we forgot to send in his income from the last 12months).

Hope I get a date soon and than I have to get together our stuff and be prepared!!

But I am glad to hear from you all, that there is a process going on! Step by step...

I received a text/email today stating my wife's EAD/AP combo card was mailed out. It took 67 days from the time our packet was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on 9/18/15. It took 50 days after she had her biometrics appointment on 10/14/15. Another hurdle down!

You guys are inches closer to the goal line! You're getting there and hopefully it's not much longer!

Yes, I received a letter first.

On a Monday I got approved, Saturday I received the information letter (information about card, my responsibility, ...) and that I will receive my card separately. Sunday I had my combo card in the mailbox.

There should not be any apparent reason why it was descheduled as my husband never left the U.S. as his interview was scheduled for December 17th. We still haven't received anything in the mail. There should not be any apparent reason why it was descheduled as my husband never left the U.S. as his interview was scheduled for December 17th. We still haven't received anything in the mail. I haven't been rescheduled. My interview was supposed to be Dec 21. If you're going anyway, let me know how it goes. Thank you

We can't wait. We've been waiting for the EAD combo card so she could start working. She has a job already lined up, but we didn't want to rush anything by trying to expedite. Being patient has worked best for us this far, so we will continue doing that. Everything happens in due time.

My husband was able to get his fingerprints taken today. Any idea how long after this it will take to approve the EAD/AP? Will they work on our case faster since we filed back in September?

I got my combo card yesterday and today I went to apply for my SSN, they told me to wait for it in the mail for 7-10 days and she told me that once I get my green card in hand I have to go back to Social security office to take away the restrictions! So everyone can know.

We got the letter approving EAD, and card should be back waiting for use when we return from TG trip.

I did not get a text or email even though I signed in for alerts.

I wonder if we will get a combo card including advanced parole. We did not sent that form because it seemed that you had to proof that travel was an emergency or medically related. We would like to be able to travel abroad next summer.

I also didn't get any email that my EAD/AP got approved. I just have the USCIS app where I typed in my receipt numbers and it's updating my status consistently.

But if you did not apply for AP then you'll probably only receive your EAD.

AP is only for emergencies and you have to explain yourself at the interview why you left the country (don't use it for 'I just want to visit my family '). I guess you have to wait until your papers are approved (green card) and then you can travel outside the country.
