Hello all just thought I would join and post my experience so far since I have been reading and using this forum for information for months.

My wife came here on a b2 visitor visa.

Married 05-16-2015

09-01-2015: 130/485/765 mailed

09-08-2015: receipt issued for all 3 forms

09-11-2015: received hard copies in the mail

09-22-2015: letter for biometrics appointment for 10-06-15

09-25-2015: received rfe for missing 2014 tax information

10-06-2015: completed biometrics only took about 20-25 minutes

10-13-2015: Rfe received and working on case again

10-21-2015: 485 ready to be scheduled for an interview

Nothing since then. Would be really nice to get the ead card approved as my wife is going crazy sitting at home all day and wants to get out and work lol.

P.S. Filed at Chicago lockbox from Phoenix Arizona

The total number of days between Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 and Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 is 43 days. That's amazing - it took 43 days from receiving your NOA notice to schedule for an interview! Cheers to that! You guys were saved from the agony of the waiting game. Keep us posted on how your interview goes!

Yea we really want that EAD though so she can work so she doesn't feel stuck lol. I was surprised how quick it said that we were ready to be scheduled especially since we had an RFE

awesome thank you all for your replies! However, my husband is due to fly this Sunday ( he bought this ticket prior to leaving England to return and take care of some stuff) of which i asked why would you do such not knowing your travel permission status... yes things moved quickly surprisingly and gratefully but he thinks although he is approved he can leave without parole in hand. i have tried and tried to tell him if he does so he can forfeit everything. am i telling him correctly or can he leave since he is approved and i mail him the advance parole? Alos, they are ready to schedule his interview but we don't have a date yet can that take a long time?

Any chance of your husband getting a quick info pass appointment? I think they can put a stamp in his passport that would allow him to travel with less risk of it affecting the AOS

Hey guys I sent my RFE response today and it should arrive next Monday. Does anyone know what kind of timeline to expect after they receive the RFE response? I still have not received a biometrics appointment for my husband yet.

Hafsa we can always try right?! Quick question for anyone, will the status on USCIS change from approval for EAD/AP combo card say something like 'issued' printed, produced or something or once it is approved it will be placed in the mail but the verbage online won't change?
