Di anyone have any lucking Calling the Cairo Emabssy immigrant visa number?

Hi Guys,

MY fiance has been calling the Cairo Embassy Immigrant Visa Unit at 0900-70600, and he says that it just rings and no one answers.

My question is has anyone going through Cairo ever had success with this number? Or should I just call from here?

My mind is just racing because he can't get through for the fourth day and I am just wondering what's going on. Trying not to worry though...

Tell him not to bother calling. You'll have better luck emailing the embassy. They will not tell him anything and may even be quite rude with him or even refuse to talk to him. Trust me.

Moody is correct. Calling that number is a waste of time and a HUGE waste of money. It's very expensive. Moh tried 3 times, each time he was placed on hold for ridiculous amounts of time, made to retrieve documents and numbers and then told they didn't need them, insulted, hung up on, and he got nowhere. Just email the Embassy. He can or you can, it doesn't matter which.

Ditto to what the gals said. Emailing was much more effective for us.

e-mail them you get faster response from them it may take 2 to 5 days but you will get one
