K1 Visa Income requriment

Im aware of the income requirment for the k1 visa, but which one is it for one person?

$15930 or $19912

Some lawyer sites say 15930 but i am not sure. I am aware of the other requirments and i will be meeting her next year in the phillipines <3

K1 doesn't use the i864 form, it uses the i134, but I think that maybe region specific.

Your poverty limit depends on if you have dependents on your taxes, these are included into the family size of you and your fiance (2). If you are not active military the guideline for 2 persons is $19,912.

Use the 100% section while petitioning, but here in the states you need to meet the 125% section....

That's on paper, but my own experience and the experience of quite a few others they just take it at 125% from the K1 stage.

Agree'd about that they normally look at 125%. There's no point to send you into the country if you're under 125% and closer to 100% and then expect you to make 125% during AOS. The I-134 is base lined around visitor visa, but it's up to the CO, they have to use their "best judgement".

As for what it is for one person, unsure, generally when you're filling this form out it'll always be two or more. The sponsor and the beneficary, plus dependants to either party.

Edit: If you're just saying you and your fiance, then I'd plan for 19912. Better to be safe than sorry.
