For Lagos a 4 years age gap is no big deal and even though they don't like to approve marriage after just meeting, your wife's 2 trips for 3 weeks

helps.

I suggest for your wife to be on the premises for the interview and get another visit in while waiting for the NOA2.

Bring plenty of photos showing you both together with your family and quality updated relationship evidence to the interview.

I say 'quality updated relationship evidence' because some people just stuff hundreds of chats as a thick filler file and think that's enough.

A well rounded evidence package includes everything you have as proof that your marriage is genuine. Bring to the interview 'ongoing' communication

evidence which can be another visit, newer photos, chats and phone logs that are from the time you submitted the petition until the

day of the interview as well as copies of all the old evidence you already submitted for USCIS.

Yes, they have it but bring it anyway.

Good evidence is a life insurance leaving each other as beneficiaries, wills, if you or her has land or property put each other on it etc.

She can find a cheap $20 a months life insurance policy and note you as beneficiary.

Evidence goes well beyond just chats.

Proposed to me on july 31, 2011

applied for k1 visa on september 19, 2011

it was approved on january, 2012 (noa2) and the interview was approved on April, 2012

Got married on may 17, 2012

So we met, fell in love, got engaged, applied for visa, moved to the US and got married WITHIN 11 MONTHS =!

It was never considered a red flag and they even paid attention to it during the interview.

we have been together for 4 years now and we have a handsome son

opps almost forgot:

1. we are 4th cousins
2. During my interview they didn't request to see nor a single photo or evidence
3. He was divorced
4. 11 years older than me

You didn't have problems with it because that's common in Pakistani culture - not to meet until just before the wedding. Or even during the wedding! But someone coming from another country where that's not a common part of their culture might have problems with this.

In fact I and my Pakistani wife had big problems because we did meet long before we got married.
