Hello Everyone,

I'm a Permanent Resident and my wife is a US citizen, I came in US last year May & I would like to invite my parents and a brother to visit us.

What necessary documents I and my parents need to accumulate in order for them to apply as a Tourist Visa.

on US embassy Pakistan website it states that all I need to provide them either my Green card or my wife's passport copy.

any additional information or help will be pretty helpful. and what are the chances for them to get approved

Thank you

Application process for the US visitor visa is very easy. Chances are very high that you parents visitor visa will be approved, But it is highly unlikely that they will issue a visitor visa to your brother. My mother was recently approved for a visitor visa, they did not look at any financial document or anything proving that she is my mother.

Just apply and see how it goes. Good Luck !

You should send your parents copy of your Green card, but copy of your wife's passport is completely irrelevant. They may ask your parents to provide proof of enough finances to cover their trip to the US. And your brother has to be able to prove that he has close ties to Pakistan. Like a well paying permanent job or his family and children etc. He has to prove that he will come back to Pakistan after visiting USA. Otherwise if whole family is going to USA to waapis mur kay kon aata hay :D
