Montréal Consulate

So I contacted the NVC today and found out they sent my case out on August 28 2015 to Montréal. I Check my case status on CEAC website and it says ready as of August 31 2015 and it says:

Your case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal. If you have already scheduled an interview appointment, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the Consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

So I emailed the consulate and asked them if they received it just to be sure and they are now saying they don't have it and that NVC has it still. I called NVC and they said they sent it out on the 28th of August.

This is so confusing and frustrating

It took awhile for my case to get "opened" at Montreal even though nvc sent it. I Just kept emailing every couple of days until they emailed me packet 3. I think it was almost 2 weeks or so from my nvc sent date to them emailing my packet 3. Hang in there! Do you have all your packet 3 documents ready?

I was just confused because I thought when it said Ready that it was at the Consulate. My fiancé still needs to get a few more things for the affidavit of support and I need my passport photos and criminal record check. I will be getting the record check done this week.

We're in the same boat. Our status has been "Ready" since August 26. I was hoping there would be the second Status Update date yesterday or today, but I think I'll e-mail them instead.

I am really confused with them at this moment. I emailed yesterday and got no where with them. but this is what my update says and that is why I am so confused when they say it is not there.
