Do I have to contact nvc?

Hey everyone! Hoping someone can answer my question..

I130 got approved months ago, initially we were doing direct consular filing. Since then, we ended up doing an AOS which was sent about 3 months ago. We sent the NOA2 for the i130 with the i485 etc, since then we received an RFE and have just returned the documents.

Question - Do i need to contact NVC to tell them to move my i130 application? I thought, and have read that this will be done automatically since i included the noa2 - and seems like our case has already been touched and is moving anyway.

Thanks a lot :)
