I been online trying to figure this out for 2 hours. On question 3 it asks for her address. She is in the city of MANDAUE, province/state is cebu. This has worked before for province/state, but this time it just has city and state. When I try to put in cebu, as state. It won't let me put in more then 2 letters, like we do here in USA for states. Why I got you here, question 10, I put her name and said "filing now with k, visa petition ". It won't let me put in k1, says no numbers allowed. On question 11, I marked intend and I said " N/A k, visa process for permanent residence" Once again it wouldn't let me put in the number 1 for k1. I promise these will be my last questions. Thank you so much for your help.

You leave the State block empty. City and Country is all you need.

Thanks, I was able to put mandaue, and cebu, under city and left state blank,, but on question 10, I put her name and "filing now with k1, petition" and fiancee and noa1, date, but in visa journey example it says put I- 129f instead of k1, visa. But it won't let you use numbers on form. Same with saying k1,. I had to use the letter L,, as the one. Same on question 11, following visa journey example, but no numbers allowed. So I did not mark intend box like example said and I put" N/A k1, visa for permanent residence".

Ummm, you do have to print out the form to physically sign it. Just put in the missing bits by hand at that time. Or am I missing something?

10. Is used for additional applicants. In my case I had two K2 children, so I listed there name there. To list you fiancé there is duplication. Leave it blank if she is the only one you are sponsoring.

11. Just add the statement "I intend to marry _________________ and support her. In the blank put her full name.

BTW they know that some things are not perfect on this form. I am sure they will change some items to make it easier to fill out on the next update. In the mean time, don't concern yourself with type and hand written entries. They will except both.

Ok, I will follow what you said. It sure gets confusing with so many different answers. Even this website has a different answer then your answer.. I think that's why many of us are confused and ask so many questions. I consider myself to be a smart man, but with so many little things you can be turned down for it makes you question everything many times. This is a long journey with lots of paperwork and walls to get over. Came so far at this point, don't want to get a roadblock now. Thanks for your time.

Your absolutely right. That's why, to help and give back, Hank and I have created websites to help ppl like yourself to navigate the process. (see the link in my signature below). As good as the guides are here on VJ, they are not country specific and there are a lot of "Gotchas" along the way. Hank and I list those gotchas and ways of getting around them to keep moving forward. We do this to help and don't charge a dime for our services, even though there are expenses on our side to run such a site.

My answer to your questions came directly from my own I-134 and I had no RFE's.

Can you fill in your profile so we know what visa you are chasing. Thanks.

I agree. Without you and this site many would be lost and endure more delays. Even though I'm sure you get frustrated at times answering the same questions. We are very thankful for the time, effort and money it takes to run this site. We are all very excited to see our loves again and start a new life with them

The I-134 is a generic form not designed with the K-1 in mind. Complete it the best you can, don't worry on some of the details - EXCEPT with your information and copies of your most recent tax return and W2.
