Real easy.. took us about 10 minutes...

Just went through the application and asked if everything was correct.. went through the checklist on the last few pages and then we had a pleanant conversation about general things. He did ask for a copy of some bank statements or other evidence of our shared life, but the adjudicator was a real nice guy...

Anna will be traveling back to see her family the day after the interview. Do they take her passport? How about her Advanced Parole?

Thanks in advance

If they approve her at the interview.. they'll take her AP and EAD and put a stamp in your passport.

Yep, that's what happened to me. By the way - I flew to Europe shortly after my interview. The airline employees I met had no idea what the stamp meant and had to be convinced that it really was a GC. One lady tried to make me fill out the white I-94, because "if it is a stamp, then it must be a visa" ;)

Hi Keith and Xiang,

Good luck on your immigration journey. In answer to your question about AOS interview experiences, our interview experience was (as quoted/written on my timeline):

"The I-485/AOS interview only took about 15 mins. Quick and simple, as they only asked my husband (D) and I (Ant) a few questions and then we showed them our evidence. I (Ant) was approved and my passport was stamped. The Green Card (though actually creamy white coloured, not green coloured) arrived by USPS the next week. And yes, it helped to have a good immigration lawyer in dealing with our case too."

Hope this helps.

Ant

It seems we are reading many recent reports of NOT receiving the passport stamp.
