You are the mother? Your fiance is a US citizen and is the father?

To prove your child is a US citizen, you need:

  • Proof that the father had been physically present in the US before the child's birth for 5 years, including 2 years after turning 14
  • The father must acknowledge the child and sign a written statement saying he will support the child until 18, in front of some official (page 3 of DS-5507). I'm not sure what is the procedure for him to do this without being present.

The other things that you have don't seem to be relevant for the CRBA.

I would reccomend him being there for the crba interview. I was advised (before eventually giving birth in the usa) that they could not do a crba for an unmarried couple's child without the USC being at the interview. This was in Canada so be sure to check with your consulate first.

You can also take a social security earnings statement of the citizen father. These can be obtained from the social security website. I was present for the CRBA interview for my daughter and I took the social security statement ,military records, naturalization papers and a letter from my employer. I only took the employment letter because I had been with the same employer in the US for more than 10 years. This was the embassy in Trinidad & Tobago. When they looked at the documents the consular officer just looked at me and smiled and said " well you definitely meet the presence requirements". We talked a little bit about my US military service and it turned out we were actually stationed at the same time on the same base in California. After it was over they told me or my daughters mother could pick the CRBA up in about 4 weeks. I think that was the standard wait time they give people but just 8 days later I got an email stating it could be picked up any time. So just 8 days wasn't bad at all
