Working as an IRS Agent I delete emails every day. Not every email that I receive or send is relevant to my job of helping examine tax returns. Those I deem not relevant I delete.

You are wrong in your assumption. I work in the Large Business & International Division. I help audit taxable entities. The political affiliation of the entity being examined is never considered. The Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division is the one that audits not-profit entities.

It was a joke but thank you for confirming our suspicions that the IRS is actually composed of bloated departments staffed by humorless drones.

You caught me. WOW you're good! After review I realized that I in fact left out a small but critical detail.

I forgot to insert "mindless" before "drones". Luckily for me based on this handy little list of tips, supplied by the "tip generating department of the tip division of the IRS":

If you can show the IRS that the reason you failed to supply a detail was due to a reasonable cause and not willful neglect, you will not be penalized.

Seems I get a free pass. Nobody on the planet would willfully leave out the word "mindless" when referring to the IRS.

Above is the correction. Please re-audit and return if further clarification is needed.
