Tricky Questions during interview

My interview is fast approaching and I am very anxious now.LOL, is there any tricky questions that the CO would ask? This is for a K1 Visa. How long is the interview?

Your response is much appreciated.

There are no tricky questions but there are stupid mistakes. I list them here.

The interview will last 3-5 minuets unless the CO sees something that they will need to dig deeper with. If you have all your documents from the Embassy Letter, you will be fine.

Look the CO in the eye when answering, be honest with your answers especially if you don't know an answer, better to say that you don't know then make something up. Don't volunteer information unless asked. It's better to let "sleeping dogs lie" then stir the pot.

I remember this rude co who was grilling this young lady about why her friends introduced her to her F and why they/she think/s theyre a match... its not that the question is inappropriate but how it was asked that was mean. poor girl got a bad co.... Can't remember if she was approved or not though.

Anyway, as long as youre honest and confident, it will all work out. :) good luck!

Sometimes we view a situation more through our eyes then the eyes of the subject (in this case the CO). They have a very stressful job and an important one to weed out the "bad apples". They have a very short window to which to question an applicant. They don't have all day to ask how the dog is, how is Lola and how about Uncle Puck, is he doing fine? They have to rapidly ask questions. The less time the app has to answer between questions, the better and faster the CO will uncover something that she sees in the paperwork. The are trying to trip up the applicant to expose what it is they are looking for. If the applicant keeps her cool and answers the questions with knowledge and confidence, like you said, no problems. Remember, they see thousands over a course of a year. They are trained to uncover bogus visa application.

The best answer you can give an applicant is just what you said, be honest and confident. That is good information for the beneficiary.
