mail in my B1/B2 visa application

Hi I am in sydney and I meet all the criteria to sumbit visa application via mail. So I would like to ask anyone has done this before similar to me? how long does it take for me to get back my passport? Thanks for your help.

You used to be able to do it in London many years ago, I have come across it recently in I think China?

I'm about to do the same - post in my documents for B2 tourist visa to the US. How did you go with yours? Has it come back yet? How long did it take?

Hi all,

Just an update on my experience as I couldn't find any information about how fast the mailing in of an application was processed when I was looking online. I sent my visa documents via mail on Tuesday and it arrived at the consular offices on Wednesday. It is now Thursday and according to this website, my visa has been issued and I should expect to receive my documents in 10 days.
