Hi guys,

I need to change the address where they are going to send a green card as my husband moved to a different state. Do I just tell them my new address at the interview or do I need to fill out some form? I already got the interview scheduled in October.

Your husband needs to first go to USCIS.gov and update your case. Then yes at interview tell CO you have a update to the DS-260. When you POE tell the CBP that's checking you in to verify your changed address. This will cover all your bases.

My wife's interview was scheduled and confirmed via phone on 9/10 and I finally received the P4 last night (9/16) around 10 PM PST so it was just short of a week before I heard. I'm now wondering what to do with the couple of hours per day that I have spent phoning the NVC. :joy:

LOL. For real.

Congratulations. You are added. But really your VJ name you sure you want the US Government to see that. just saying.

LOL...

Apparently that name has Egyptian mythological ties, goddess of health, marriage, and wisdom. An afterthought.

However, I am open to suggestions to a cooler name

I have a question. Do I have to bring the police certificate to the interview even though I've sent it to NVC?

You have to bring everything to the interview as you never know what they will ask. Moreover we don't know for sure what NVC sent to the embassy.

I have a question. Do I have to bring the police certificate to the interview even though I've sent it to NVC?

On my interview letter, I'm being requested to bring the "original" police certificates - they were generated online, but I guess they need to see another copy of it.

When in doubt, just bring everything you mailed to the NVC/USCIS.

Dwheels-

The letter the CO gave my husband states : insufficient evidence of financial support; must provide 2014 tax returns for both sponsors

I am sending my husband back to the embassy with screen shots from the IRS website clearly showing that our joint sponsor was not required to file taxes.. another signed statement from the sponsor stating such... and also copies of the social security benefits summary for 2014 to show that our sponsor was within the income guidelines for 2014..also another copy of my tax return and w2's

What do you think? Do we stand a chance with this? Am I wasting our time? My next step will be to contact the senators and congress person again.
