Wow, 10 days and still no email! This is why people should keep calling NVC to find out when they have an interview. The sooner a person knows, the sooner they can get their medical scheduled.

They didn't even send us a CC email! We had to call and call and finally they mailed a physical letter one month later and only because we requested some kind of non-verbal confirmation that our case was completed. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

What's the average time from interview confirmed on telephone to getting an email confirmation / P4 package?

About 7 days is average. Some get it in 3 - some get it in two weeks.

Hello all, has anyone ever received a police record check from their Country and all it says is that you have a record but not what the record is?

I am asking becasue we received my husband's record and instead of it saying Does not have a History, it only says Has a History (No Posee Antecedentes but is says Posee Antecedentes)

It has no other information or anything. I would think that if he had a record (which he does not) it should say what the record is. We are hoping this is only a typing error, but are hesistant about flying back for our interview not knowing. We are tryting to follow up the police department and speaking to attorneys out there, but is hard being in a different Country,

Has anyone here received their record and they had a record? I want to know if it said what the record is? Or did it just say you had a record or history with no other information.....

any help is appreciated!

Hello everyone, does any one know if the 30 day count starts over everytime you get a check list?

The NVC will probably say that but sometimes it doesn't take as long after you correct the check list item, but sometimes it does.

Hi guys,

I need to change the address where they are going to send a green card as my husband moved to a different state. Do I just tell them my new address at the interview or do I need to fill out some form? I already got the interview scheduled in October.

What's the average time from interview confirmed on telephone to getting an email confirmation / P4 package?

My wife's interview was scheduled and confirmed via phone on 9/10 and I finally received the P4 last night (9/16) around 10 PM PST so it was just short of a week before I heard. I'm now wondering what to do with the couple of hours per day that I have spent phoning the NVC. :joy:
