It was a fast process, we had all the documents that they told us to bring and we don't had any problem. On the interview, the consul asked me about when we married and how whe met, and some simplu questions that we don't had any doubt to make a fast answer.

Thanks a lot to all ofyou for helping me with the questions that i had all this time that take the entire process!!

Guys whats the biometrics? I'm an IR1/CR1, does that apply to me?

Is that the medical that we have to do or ... ?

No way to answer and help you. You have no timeline, no flag up. Bio-metric appointments are country specific. Do you have case compete yet?

We received our interview appointment letter from the NVC this afternoon! Our interview date is scheduled for October 7th.

I found out that biometrics are done at the interview for free for Croatia. Unless my source is wrong.

I suppose other embassies with lots of traffic separate it.

WE HAVE AN INTERVIEW!!!!!! October 5th at 11am!

She said it was scheduled Friday, apparently after I called. I wish I'd called later as to not then send the email. I'm sooooo worried they are still going to pull our file now and delay us.

She said the package shipped today, though I realize it is supposedly packaged today and picked up tomorrow. So I REALLY hope we are in that package that leaves! I'm going to be biting my nails until I hear something from the NVC. Hoping that at least it will change from at NVC to "in transit".

Congrats! We received our interview appointment email late this afternoon. So do you suggest not calling the NVC and just waiting until the status changes on the website?

Folks, I called NVC this evening to check if we have good news, but I was hit and slapped with the same reply: Wait, your case is waiting for interview to be scheduled, CC 07/23, still nothing for Ghana.

yes mine is @ 930 am, did you get any mail?? we need to get the medical exams done asap and we have only 2 weeks.

I dont know the time yet, i didnt receive the email. I'm also waiting for it, only one hospital in my state is conducting medical, that's too busy with people doing medical. I'm going to call nvc today for the email. Did you got the email,?

My wife is in kerala.. She called directly to the authorized physician hospital/office in Kerala and got an appt. They also mentioned the required documents which are same as the provided instructions by US consulate Mumbai - Use the link below for the instructions:

I'm also from Kerala, did you got the medical appointment without the confirmation letter from nvc, i think we need to bring the confirmation for medicals.

Did they allow you to select a date for the medical or they scheduled it?

I received my packet4 today.

interview on 2nd October.

case completed on 16th June.

Our appointment is the day before the USCIS will stop accepting the old i-864 so I hope they don't want a new form from us as there is no way it'll arrive to him in his country in 3 weeks. I won't be able to send any of the data I was going to send. So he's just going to take all scans and printouts of what I email him and hope for the best. He has all his originals and I sent a bunch of originals with the I-130 package, so if they didn't lose that package then they will have most everything except an original new form i-864

That is a good question. dwheels76, we mailed in our package to the NVC with the older I-864 form. Will we have to submit the newer form for the interview?
