it depends. No specific time line. It could be days to weeks. All depends on workload of embassy. Normally they don't go out more than 30 days before interview. I have seen cases at NVC sit until 2 weeks before interview. They bundle them together. So the busier embassies may take longer.

I see I just didn't know if I should be getting twitchy cos my interview is in 20 days and it's not been sent then. But it will get there soon I suppose.

Not seeing any interviews being scheduled yet. Is everyone calling to find out for yourselves or waiting for the email to come?

I've been calling two or three times a week since my CC on 8/19. So far, no news. I called this morning (Taiwan time) ... I had to dial about 15 times before the call went through. After listening to the new voice prompts I got the message that all representative were unavailable and I was getting ready for a half hour of cheesy music. The recording barely finished, the line rang, and I was connected to an agent. I was surprised!! Still, no interview ... but also no waiting on hold! I don't know whether to be happy or sad!?!? I'll try again on Friday.

My cc was June 04, I requested an expedite and just received the invitation letter this week from Juarez to schedule my interview, but don't see any available dates for September or October.

No October interviews available yet? That is odd. Could it be that NVC hasn't received those spaces to schedule yet? Strange thing is that a lady in another forum has already been scheduled for an early October interview. I'm waiting to hear back to see how she was scheduled.

Can you please let us know once you're able to schedule?

Also, I'm putting everything in a binder and I have two joint sponsors. So should I put proof of relationship after all three affidavits (mine being the first?) or should I put proof of relationship materials after all three affidavits?

So confused.

My husband hasn't been scheduled interview yet but I'm visiting so I'm going to leave all the paperwork with him just in case I can't fly over for the interview, whenever they decide to finally give him one.

5 months and counting.

Yeah I don't know how it works when you schedule your own interview. Since my case was expedited it was sent to the Juarez consulate I no longer have to deal with NVC and Juarez is just having me choose a date.

I phoned last night and the agent told me they were waiting for the time slots for the October dates. She also told me to call back in about 2 weeks and I should be able to find out when my interview date is. Apparently, they get the schedule @ the end of each month

I have a question. I don't have adequate income so I have two joint sponsors for my husband. I filed the I864. Should I have filed the I-864A? I just noticed that there are different affidavits=/

The petitioner files the I-864 regardless of income and your co-sponsors will file the I-864 as well. I-864A is for anyone combining their incomes with yours..(immediate relatives who lives with you.) if you so choose, in place of them being joint sponsors.
