What's the point of having your case expedited when you have to wait 3-4 months for an interview? I think it should be faster. My expedite request was approved on Sept 9 for HCMC too.

I sent my request to NVC and it was forwarded after the Embassy accepted.

Come on not depressing they haven't started. Trust me on that. I would have most def heard about Lagos. Nigeria is usually always day 3 or 4 of scheduling.

Amazing as I try and clean up and update the spreadsheet the same countries over and over just have been ignored since May and June.

Jordan, Algeria, Sudan Egypt, Ethiopia Armenia, Algeria

Cambodia Vietnam, India, Ghana, Nigeria, Mexico

Since July it has been a little here and there. Trying to make sure he folks on list have accounts still or I am deleting. Many on list aren't around or probably changed their name. So alot of deletions

But notice the first group. Like WOW. I have herd that the refuge crisis has forced cases around and Algeria is now taking on cases fro a closed Yemen, Sudan.

And Jordan and Egypt have been taking on these cases from Yemen and Sudan but now cases are being transferred.

Do you think this will delay interview dates for ir 1 /cr 1 cases ? my case closed date is aug 6,

Guys, guess what!?! After 3 weeks of waiting we finally were rescheduled. The new interview is scheduled for September 17th !!

I feel like I fought so hard for this. Since my husband was turned away on August 20th I have not stopped emailing and calling trying to get this matter resolved. Twice a week I was emailing the senators and the congressman that had agreed to look into our case.. Tuesday night I emailed President Obama ( I knew it was a long shot..but I am stubborn and do not give up easily).. and then Wednesday I filed a formal complaint (my emails and phone calls were being completely ignored by the embassy) with the Office of the Inspector General against the US embassy in Tunisia..who replied they were going to forward my complaint to the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA), Executive Office...for what they called "action".. This morning I checking my email..disappointment..nothing..but then I checked my husband's email and someone from the embassy had finally emailed him with our new appointment date and time..such relief! I am not sure what finally got the ball rolling but thank God it's rolling!

The odd thing is.. My husbands email is not listed in any of our paperwork to the USCIS or NVC..I've just been including it in my emails to the Senators, Congressman, and then the Office of the Inspector General .. so they could contact him directly if needed.. So, I am pretty sure it was all of the "noise" that I made that finally got results..I hope it does not make them grumpy when they interview my husband...

Sorry this is so long.. but I hope sharing this will help others.

AWESOME news. I am so happy for you. And I think you deserve a position on the next presidents cabinet in Immigration affairs (sorry I want to run USCIS and NVC)

One week at least not a long wait. Do keep us posted so we can all celebrate with you when I hear those words "He's approved". But my favorite "My baby is coming home".

Happy news, interview has been rescheduled for Oct 1st.

So NVC is back with all of you that gt cancelled? 10/1 thats great. Congratulations. looks like P4 letter is coming fast. Run and get that medical done LOL

Just got off the phone with the NVC, they said today they scheduled my interview for October 15th.

Weirdly, I want to call the embassy and see if they can give me a later date towards the end of October as I'm going to the states next week and am scheduled to come back towards the end of Oct anyway. Hopefully they can help me out with that! Either way, great news and it only took them 2 weeks from CC to schedule the interview.

Congratulations. You are updated. Should be easy enough to move date out. Just wait for your status to change to Ready probably end of next week and you can email the embassy and get a later date.

To those of you who got their interviews today over the phone, did you guys see the status change on the CEAC website right away or did you just call because of all the recent scheduled interviews from this thread? Wondering if I should keep checking the site first or just call the NVC.

But nothing changes on the site. Even when you get interview. It's not until days or a week or so later when they ship your casefile out to the embassy he status will change t In-Status. Then once it arrives at embassy it changes t Ready and has a Status update date

What we do here is watch and wait I try my best to let people now when I hear a certain embassy is scheduling. Once you hear on VJ or Facebook you start calling. I have yet to hear anything of DR but that doesn't mean nothing is happening. If you want to know call NVC.

Got interview scheduled today for Oct. 6th and received P4 Letter via email today. I was shock at how fast NVC is working now.

See how people are so happy and joyous and forgetting that hell of the last few months. Look NVC gets some love here. Awwwww

First time posting here, but just wanted to chime in that I just received my interview date for 10/7. The NVC received our documents on 6/29 so it took over two months to get an appointment. Never got an email about a case closed though. This is for cdj in Mexico.
