Hypothesis#1 The simplest reason I can think of ,is EID... I mean look they gave dates on 21st 22nd with EID on 23rd.... It seems absurd having an interview on a day when there are nation wide holidays going on...

Hypothesis#2 ISL embassy is short of staff nowadays. There are almost 15 interviews counters there with only 7 to 8 are functional and rests are closed.

Hypothesis#3 Lack of coordination between NVC and ISL Embassy.

Hypothesis#4 NVC did not send the documents at a right time and there is a delay as all of us have documents status that still shows ''AT NVC''.

Hypothesis#5 Susan Rice came to Pakistan and the whole ISL embassy staff is busy taking selfies with her.

Hypothesis#6 NVC is simply a ###### hole,look we are not talking about a stupid department in a stupid third world developing country, Its USA we are talking about. If NVC can commit such a gross negligence, rest of the worlds clerical staff is doing a lot better than this.

I'm panicking, and I think it's within our right. I took time off work and got a plane ticket as the interview was in just over 2 weeks. Now I need to figure out what to do when I don't even know what date I'm aiming for.

After reading thru the 5 ISL cancellations, my exact thought too.. What about those who put in for time off and purchased airfare \ hotel bookings.

This is gross incompetence.. at the skyest level. I feel for everyone going thru this emotional torture!

nope they havnt schedul any one from cairo still ............. um talkin about all thosepoor folks from pakistan .... get scheduled and was really excited then suddenly sorry guys cancel no interviews for u wait some more ............. i bet that never happened before ........... NVC is playin lately with people lives ............NVC is playin with couples waited for so long to be together ........... um not sure if thats testin people patience or just want people to say enough with it

- the thing NVC never gets is that some people here r really happy where they r from and live a good life but they r obliged to file for that CR1 visa cuz their spouses cant really go live with them .......... NOT every one is doing that cuz they wanna live in the so called heaven on earth thats not true SOME CANT BE WITH THEIR LOVED ONES UNLESS THEY R DOIN THAT ..........

so they better start deal with us as human beings contributing in the real life one way or another not just like a bunch of beggers do whatever they want to them and they just say ok i understand dont worry bout it ...........PFFFFFFFFFFF

dwheels76- Can you please remove my interview date from the sheet. I just received a called from NVC they had cancelled my interview date. The only reason I got out of them was "capacity issue".

how long it take to reschedule the interview they cancel my interview for 28 sep

With every post of cancellation my heart breaks and I get pissed off. Seems that second round was maybe done by NVC but not approved by embassy.

I have no words Like damn I feel the Stat department should have to write you a letter of excuse from work and pay the fees to change your ticket. Not like you bought ticket on a whim.

No where does it say "Do not make plans even if you have a interview date". No this is their major F up and I would love for all of you to call your Senator. This is BS.

Im not sure if that the status of our interview if it's cancelled or not since I can't call until Tuesday. But it's showing as "in transit". And also on the NVC Portal it's saying current processing site Islamabad. I played around a little bit with the DHL dates and I think it's EXP 24 AUG 2015A and EXP 02 SEP 2015A it shows packages sent to Islamabad, Pakistan.

All I know is I'm getting tired of these games they're playing with everyone. First it was the late scheduling and now it's the canceling of the interviews. Who knows what else they have in store for us.
