How did u get this info? Our case status got changed to IN TRANSIT yesterday, so i think our case is one of the 6 pieces for philippines.. :))

DHL tracking is in the 1st post. I am sure since yours say in Transit that could be your bunch. It's just a fun tracking thing. Doesn't mean a whole lot except for those needing to know when their case arrives. Which when it says Ready you know its there.

creating account doesn't clog up the system - this is unheard of it.

it gives different dates for different types of visa and embassy - this has to mean something that we are unable understand.

for instance k1, October 23 is earliest available date as of now

Do let us all know if you come across anything useful with the account prior to interview scheduled.

One thing you have to realize on these embassy calendars that some of you get to see. It obviously doesn't have all slots there. Those calendars are for the Visa types that are allowed to access them. The CR1/IR1 category is pulled off. What sense wpould it make to list them if you can;t schedule when you are K1. So just because you see no dates available for October that's for a K1. The slots for ya'll are in NVC's hands . NVC has been working on October since last month. Most embassies send out 2 to 3 months ahead and will update as time allows. Say they sent out September in July for August scheduling thought they may have 10 slots open but OMG too many Visitor Visas and others so they give up some slots. This is the ying and yang of it all.

Just wanted to enlighten folk to the calendar. Now the million dollar question is why did every embassy seem to not schedule. Well that dwheels can't answer sorry.

dwheels76, how would Visitor Visas play a factor into available interview slots for Immigrant Visas in consulates and embassies in EU European countries?

Checked our stat on CEAC and it says "Ready" since August 30. On Sept 2, the embassy sent my husband an e-mail congratulating me for my upcoming interview and that they already received and finished reviewing the documents sent from NVC. Judging by that i think your documents are already with them but if you're really anxious to know and wanna make sure of it, it's a good idea to send MNL IV section an inquiry about your case. SLEC's on a first come first served basis but i suggest to have your husband fall in line at least around 2:30 am if he wants to at least finish around noon and know about his X-ray result the same day. As to what people around SLEC say, they have the most human traffic every Monday so it'll require a person more patience for that. Also, they have a cut off so if he doesn't make it with the first cut on X-ray for day 1 he'll know about his X-ray results first in the morning by day 2 and see if he'll be ok'd for immunization instead of being informed about that on day 1.

Have a good one :)

Anybody from Philippines got their case status changed from AT NVC to IN TRANSIT? how many days should it take? It has been 8 days now since we got interview scheduled..my hubby is traveling to manila now and will have medical exam sept 7..glad it's first come first serve basis no appointment necessary!

Someone advice me on how to use dhl tracking for my case..

Its on the first post. Remember this is just a guesstimate its not an exact science. Biut since you are in transit more than likely any package leaving NVC at the date you saw in transit probably has your case file in it..

It's more important to see your status change to READY.

Here I used the date range 8/25 to present

dwheels76, how would Visitor Visas play a factor into available interview slots for Immigrant Visas in consulates and embassies in EU European countries?

Oh dear Visitor Visas at embassies are #1. I know for Lagos is an example has 400 to 500 interviews per day. IR1/CR1 get no more than 2 to 3 slots per day 4 days a week. K1's get about 3 to 4 All other types get the rest.

Visitor Visa is the bread and butter of the US Tourist means revenue means someone is coming to spend money (Hopefully).

DWHEELS please i need help!!!!

My joint sponsor just called me today and said that he cannot send his updated tax returns for the year 2014 since he has a further extension on his tax returns because of some reasons and is asking me if his son can sponsor me? Of all the #$#$#Q$$ things that could go wrong! :@

His son makes a healthy amount almost 100K so what do i do now? do i call the NVC? Do i call the embassy? Or do i just show up with the new i-864 and tax returns at the interview?

Interview is on the 21st of September.

I cant get his ay stubs/etc since he is self employed so no pay stubs, no W-2s, no nothing :S

help me someone!

Hello and welcome! The wait can be anywhere from 30 days to God only knows how long. Unfortunately, there's no way to get a clue how long they'll make anyone wait.

The dates people are seeing for their embassies online are only dates for other types of visas, such as K1. The dates for IR1/CR1 interviews aren't shown. Looking at available dates for other types of visas is totally pointless, which is something some people aren't understanding as of yet. That makes as much sense as looking at available employment interview dates for a job position you aren't even applying for, so just disregard that.

Best of luck on getting an interview in October! :-)
