Well it doesn't really matter how you assemble your personal binder long as you know where things are when asked. It's not like you're going to hand over a binder. CO's don;t have time for all that. Hopefully you provided enough in your I-130 package or sent more evidence to NVC so all that extra will not be asked for or needed.

I always though more evidence was always better? And I put each paper in sheet protectors so that I wouldn't have to punch holes in them. Should I just have them in a stack of papers? I liked the binder idea because I wanted to put in dividers with labels for everything, it seemed like the most organized system.

Should I not have done that?

My husband and I have been through an interview before. In our experience, my husband wasn't allowed to take our binder in. They had him take out the documents they needed, and left some unneeded documents in the binder, which he left outside the interview. I have a friend who took a beautifully made album to her interview, containing her relationship evidence. After all that lovely scrap-booking work she did, she had to dismantle the album and take in only the pages.

That's terrible!

I guess I'll just bring a stack of papers then. All that work for nothing. I actually made books with our pictures but I guess it's no use taking those anymore. Oh well=/

Thanks!

Hi dwheels76 can you answer it for me please

I already submitted my uncle's DS-160 (for B1/B2 visa) with a particular date (X) as 'Intended Date of Arrival'. But I am unable to get a visa appointment before that date. So, should I submit the DS-160 again? or is it okay they can correct it at embassy ?

The way I read it, I think Bunny was talking about two separate issues.

1) NVC is yet to send his file to Delhi (said at NVC on ceac) and will ship the file by the weekend.

2) New Delhi has not even started scheduling October CR1 interviews.. to counter rumors that there are no October slots remaining.

Hii Folks

I am also waiting for my interview schedule from NVC in Mumbai India consulate . My CC 22nd June :(.

Does contacting the consulate help??

And is the NVC call center the only source of interview information??

yesterday it was November 5th now September 14th. Something is progressing.. Two weeks ago when I checked it was showing me Aug 24th. Lets hope these changes result in out interview scheduling. Does anyone from Mumbai called yesterday? I have gone throw lots of old threads, seems its always a delay when it comes to Jul/Aug/Sept. In 2012, all July filers got their Interview date on Sept 14. Last year it was Sept 2nd. So hopefully our miracle day is not too far. Fingers crossed to hear the good news. keep the spirit up :)

A derisive, out-of-control post has been removed, along with two posts referencing it. Administrative action has been applied. The immigration process is mightily frustrating; regardless, appropriate posting behavior is expected from all VJ members.
