as you are almost near to 30days from the last scan date, I would suggest you to talk to a supervisor. When u get connected to first level rep, ask them to connect you to a supervisor. A supervisor might help you better in this. You need to struggle a lot to talk to a supervisor. They will not be available all the time.

I want to do that but I am afraid it might push it back. That's why I am not sure if I should just wait it out or take the chance of supervisor review. I heard it might take anywhere from 1 week to 53 days.

Hi everyone!

I haven't posted much on here, I am also waiting for my interview to get scheduled. I got my CC 9/17/15, I really hope I can get a November interview, maybe I should be more realistic and aim for a December interview... I decided I will start calling NVC again this Friday 10/2/15, and ask for any updates...mainly if there's an interview scheduled for me. I just saw someone with an interview date for November 4th, for Ciudad Juarez embassy, which is the one my husband will be going to. But I also saw that this person's case got expedited. So, I am thinking that was the reason for seeing a November interview already scheduled.

In another note, I am sooo looking forward to the November 2015 Interview Thread!! Just a few days away!

And for those having their interviews in October Best of Luck! Please share your experiences in the new thread, we will be looking forward on reading them!

Hopefully next week they will start announcing. Trust me November scheduling is done they just can't announce because we are still in October cycle. Don't know what they can't give people advance notice whats the harm. Unless they feel they will be bombarded with request to change the dates or something.

Visa denied

Gave me a white slip and told that it was denied.

Officer didn't asked more than 3/question . didn't saw any documents or photos or anything .. Handed me a white slip.

What can we do in this condition. Can we do anything at all ?? What are our options

I am so sorry. Now first let me ask some questions.

1. What does the form say (I assume its a 221g)?
2. What did the CO say after interview? Refused Visa? Will return your petition to NVC/USCIS?
3. What evidence did you have in your package when you submitted your I-130?
4. Do you have red flags?

Also could you change you profile to the embassy you interviewed at. That way if you post questions people from that country will see and be better to ask.

I am really sorry.

Also when I m doing my medical.. Which passport should I use?.

Stick with the passport you put down on the DS-260. You will give new passport to CO at interview. This will keep everything flowing and no confusion. Take old and neww to interview. Don;t worry about the new at medical. Stick to what youstarted with long as its still current and not expired or cancelled. I know here when you renew the old is cancelled.

We wrote it as XXXX PARVEEN and my father wrote it as XXXXX PERVEEN in all US documents

That's a BIG mistake. Put it to you this way. The Visa and the green card will be in whatever name is on passport. So imagine her ID going forward will be wrong. They can't issue Visa in one name and passport is in another. All you can do is mention at interview it was misspelled I guess.

But since you had correct spelling throughout maybe it will be okay. Had to say

I need help. A week before my interview, I received a letter about additional documents I need to bring to the interview.

And it said;

1. Even if the sponsors current income overseas exceeds the 125 percent minimum income level, this income cannot be considered sufficient if the petitioner must leave that income source (job) in order to return to the U.S. The income source or employment must continue in the U.S. while the beneficiary is immigrating to the U.S. Please submit the total value of your assets equal at least three times of the current poverty guidelines (I-864P) for your household size.

If you cannot submit your assets, please provide completed I-864 with supporting documents from the joint sponsor. A joint sponsor must attach photocopies of the most recent of Federal income tax return or IRS transcript of the filing, proof of U.S. citizenship; U.S. birth certificate or U.S. passport with completed form I-864. If a joint sponsor is using only his/her own income, he/she must also submit his/her W2 form. If a joint sponsor would like to use his/her household members income or assets, please provide household members form I-864A.

My husband has a job in the states and we provided NVC the invoices and the contract. And his income is above poverty line. Do I still need those documents? I've called the embassy but the agent couldn't answer my question because all she could answer was non immigrant visa related, even though I called the immigrant visa related line.

You should bring a copy of your AOS package with you to the interview just in case. Could be a generic email, a mistake but better to be safe.

Does meeting online can cause visa denial? I think I saw some ppl who met their spouse online got approved.

A red flag doesn't mean a visa denial. It just means if you have a red flag have evidence to back it up. To overcome online scrutiny make visits long in duration. No meet and greet a week marry and haven;t seen each other for 2 years. The embassy is growing weary of that. The couple literally have nothing but an online relationship as the CO see's it.

We are different than K1 couple we are married and the embassy wants to see that demonstrated. So no you can;t be denied just for that. It's always a combination of things that draws them to a conclusion to deny. Right or wrong.

Hey dwheels76, what made you say that they've already scheduled November interviews? That's very disheartening for me cuz my case was completed just yesterday and I was hoping for November interview

As far as I know or as mentioned in the spreadsheet, the US embassy in Pakistan takes around a month to schedule an interview then the interview appointment is usually a month after that which means I'll be getting my interview letter after a month (in October) probably but you're saying that the interviews have already been scheduled for the month of November does that mean I shouldn't keep my hopes high?

I understand this thread is for CC but I have a question that would be answered more accurately here than any other thread.

I sent my documents(AOS/IV package) which were received by NVC August 24th. Then our agent from back home made my husband send original documents which were received September 1st(wrong step on agent's part, I feel he should have known this was not supposed to be done, now time is being wasted because of him, no point complaining now I guess). I am on the 29th day and no news so I called NVC to get an update as I have seen someone with a scan date of August 31st get approved in 21 days. So, anyhow, I was told that it might take up to October 15th to review the documents as there are two pieces of mail. The operator also said that if it's not reviewed by October 15th I can call again and get a supervisor to review it.

I wanted to know how that process works, if anyone is familiar with it. ( I saw somewhere that it might take anywhere from 1 week to 53 days for a supervisor review/CC). My question is what's my best bet, should i just wait or get a supervisor to review it after October 15th. I don't want to cause more delay. My wedding anniversary is January 1st and I am hoping my husband gets here before that.

Wait. Supervisor review doesn;t mean its looked at faster. And calling and asking doesn't mean they will send to supervisor.

One thing you said you sent originals to agent. But originals have to be presented at interview. N originals of anything was to be sent to NVC. So hope you aren't delayed at embassy and them saying you have to go get originals or certified copies of things.

Just call NVC next week. Because of the double mailing you delayed yourself. Sorry.
