We have interview tomorrow and today us consulate called my work.

Does this means bad or good ??? We r just freaking out

Why are you freaking out they are just doing their interview checks. Some people just get checked out more thorough than others. Nothing to worry about unless you have something to worry about.

dwheel plz answer my question there is a spelling mistake in my moms passport of one alpabet does this cause delay of us visa plz answer my question our interview will be held on 1st october :help: :help: :help: :help:

It could cause a delay because the Passport has to match everything else,. Th BC, The Visa Application can't be two different names. But maybe it won't be an issue. Hard to say. I have seen where in countries they forgot a letter, or symbol or the accent. And it was fixed. But you have a wrong Passport so really can't answer. Hopefully they wont make you correct.

Why didn't she correct when she got her passport?

96 days here till CC lowlie and also hoping for november interview though I think there are earlier cases with no interview date yet... but should we worry if they did nothing till 9th october or patience is the only way out or shall we email the NVC.. feeling like it is a total mess

I doubt they even read the emails. I think if a case waits beyond all that's ridiculous, perhaps a congressman could be asked for help.

Hi Lowlie. Are you going to be interviewed in Armenia?

It would be awful if something happened which would cause interviews to moved out of Egypt. Yemeni's have to travel to Egypt and Algeria for their interviews due to the embassy in Yemen being closed.

I'll call NVC about this on Monday morning.

Since we never got the CC email, I think there's a good chance we won't get the interview appointment letter (when we finally do get an appointment), and I know we can't proceed without that one!

We never got a CC email, but we did get an interview appointment letter 2-3 days after being scheduled. Good luck!

Thanks! I was able to get the CC email today. It was dated August 12, for our CC August 5 date.

Good! Our CC was August 1. I'll laugh if we get our CC email after the interview is done, visa received, and family member is in the US.

Is it normal for nvc to send to consulate only 2 weeks ahead of interview? mine still shows at NVC

Hi everyone!

I haven't posted much on here, I am also waiting for my interview to get scheduled. I got my CC 9/17/15, I really hope I can get a November interview, maybe I should be more realistic and aim for a December interview... I decided I will start calling NVC again this Friday 10/2/15, and ask for any updates...mainly if there's an interview scheduled for me. I just saw someone with an interview date for November 4th, for Ciudad Juarez embassy, which is the one my husband will be going to. But I also saw that this person's case got expedited. So, I am thinking that was the reason for seeing a November interview already scheduled.

In another note, I am sooo looking forward to the November 2015 Interview Thread!! Just a few days away! :D

And for those having their interviews in October Best of Luck! Please share your experiences in the new thread, we will be looking forward on reading them! :)

I got CC 9/9 and still waiting patiently for interview date at ciudad Juarez too ?? hopefully in October we receive a date
