Hey dwheels76, what made you say that they've already scheduled November interviews? That's very disheartening for me cuz my case was completed just yesterday and I was hoping for November interview :(

As far as I know or as mentioned in the spreadsheet, the US embassy in Pakistan takes around a month to schedule an interview then the interview appointment is usually a month after that which means I'll be getting my interview letter after a month (in October) probably but you're saying that the interviews have already been scheduled for the month of November :( does that mean I shouldn't keep my hopes high?

This is what I mean by that. Each embassy sends 1 ,23 months worth of slots to fill. But NVC only will announce the next months scheduling. What I meant is people are already slotted believe that for November and they keep filling in the dates until full. That's why you will see some embassy when scheduling announcement happens they are ready to go and others don't announce for days or a week later. That's what NVC means when they say they are waiting for dates or the calendar from embassy.

But slots are always being filled just not announced. Don't be disheartening.

It's like this you could very well be slotted for say November 5th. So you wait until November announcement. Trust me no way they can just do month by month its fluid and monthly announcements.

Pakistan is pretty up to date not much of a wait. You don;t have a interview yet because your CC was too late for October. So lets just see what happens with November scheduling. I don;t know how many out their in the universe are petitioning for Pakistan so no way I can say "Yes you will get a November interview." It's all about where you are in the queue. Just have to wait and hope for the best.

Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the group.

Now I couldn't say. I would say that October probably is closed. i sure wouldn't count on it but it is possible also. Its hard to say. That give s them less than a month to prepare and I know they like to schedule at least 6 weeks out.
