I woke up just 30 minutes ago, made a cup of coffee and went to October 2015 interviews and NVC Filers - September 2015 to read updates. After reading everything and closing the tab, I decided to logged onto CEAC and OMG!

There's three N/A's! Is that a case complete? Or it could also mean a checklist?

I'm just just so happy right now, I'm rolling in bed. It's a great Thursday morning!

So excited to tell my husband. We'll call NVC to confirm when he gets home from work.

Yupp, looks like a CC to me :) Congrats!!! Was your scan date the 8th of September??

Hello vjfamily please I need clarity on this my scan date is 14 September, and I have been waiting for the final N/A, NVC made an error on my case number, when filling out the ds260 form I indicated that I will like to do my interview at the Johannesburg consulate since I am currently on a work visa though my country of citizenship is Nigeria, I have been living in Johannesburg since 2011 and I sent a copy of my work visa to NVC but when my case number was assigned it was having Lagos as the consulate where my visa would be processed at, I asked my lawyer why this is so even when I had provided a copy of my valid work visa to the NVC, my lawyer said he will inquire wch he did and NVC requested more proof of my residency in South Africa, like bank statement, employment verification or lease agreement. I have sent that now to the NVC hoping it will be rectified, but my question is could this be a checklist as I would like to know. Thanks

I was in the same situation before. I'm from Nigeria but now live in Canada. You need to send your residence permit with a letter requesting that your case should be transferred to South Africa. I didn't include any other thing. The change took about a month.

I really don't know, but what I know is you can have your interview in any country with wch you have a residence permit, I have no problem doing my interview in Nigeria wch is my home country but my challenge would be that I have no more leave days at my work and may not be able to travel to Nigeria for my interview hence I requested to be interviewed in SouthAfrica since I have a work permit here
