I believe all of these fields are fields that update automatically on the form. But I believe they need JavaScript enabled to work which Acrobat might disable by default recently.

But for me those fields filled out automatically based on answers to other questions. Except for 2 /2c that one I think will enable when you click one of the check boxes for Apt, Ste or Flr.

it was the javascript...thanks! :)

Sent in my AOS and IV documents today, should arrive tomorrow! woohoo.

Have a couple of questions related to NVC. I tried calling today and had an unhelpful agent... I asked to talk to a supervisor, she put me on hold for a minute then came back and said one isn't available and one will cal me back 'soon.' Has anyone had supervisors actually call back, or should I just try calling again to get a different more helpful agent?

My account is still locked and the DS-261 hasn't been reviewed since I submitted it on Sept 18. Would like this reviewed quickly so that we can pay the IV bill and fill out the DS-260 before they start reviewing the documents I just sent in...

More importantly, the address that NVC has for the beneficiary is wrong - the street address and postal code are correct, but whoever on their end entered it into the system put in the country as her country of nationality instead of her country of residence. The agent I spoke to today told me they won't be able to change this on the phone and I will have to submit to NVC an to make the change, which will have a 45 day review time. I asked why this is if it is incorrect data entry, and the agent didn't have a response...

My question is: Does anyone have experience dealing with an address incorrectly input by NVC? Does it matter if the address on the welcome letter is wrong? We got all the documents via email, and my wife will put her correct address on the DS-260. Should I follow up with the supervisor on this or just let it go and hope it doesn't cause any issues down the road?

Thanks for everyone's comments.

I called back today. The agent didn't seem able to help on my issues until I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for a few minutes then came back and said the supervisor unlocked the case while I was on hold. Then the agent reviewed the DS-261, changed my phone number, and changed the beneficiary's address (no email needed, apparently...).

Hopefully I receive the IV fee invoice soon, she said it would take up to a week but I believe I've seen here that it normally takes 2-3 days.

Really don't understand why any cases are locked. It ends up wasting more time when I call in 5 times trying to get the same thing solved. If it were unlocked I would've only called once...

Also, my wife had her new US tourist visa approved today - so even if she doesn't have the CR-1 process done by Christmas she can still come visit my relatives and me for Christmas. Hurray!

After I filled the D261 I entered the 'Fee Payment' section at https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ and looked ok, but I didn't have my router number on me, so I closed it. Now when I try to log in again I get " Database Error You have encountered the database error. Please try again later."

Did I mess up something? Has anybody ever seen this error at this stage? I am freaking out!

To add to that, if I go to

I see

CHOICE OF ADDRESS & AGENT (DS-261) COMPLETED
AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT (AOS) Role Affidavit of Support Fee Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence
Petitioner/Primary Sponsor PAY NOW N/A
APPLICANT INFORMATION
Status IV Fee IV

Application Civil

Documents

PRINCIPAL PRINCIPAL APPLICANT PAY NOW N/A

but after clicking on "Pay Now" on AOS I get

Server Error in '/CTRAC' Application. Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Is that a problem of the server? Shall I just wait?

You should not have just closed. You should log out and then close the browser. Now, try clearing the cookies and restarting the browser. If that does not fix your issues, then call nvc... worst case, you could send the fee by mail Edited by jayisis

I have a questions about IV package.

Do we supposed to send a photocopy of documents ( for example, birth certificate) of certified photocopy?

If we have to send a certified photocopy, where we can get it to certify?

Thank you!

I woke up just 30 minutes ago, made a cup of coffee and went to October 2015 interviews and NVC Filers - September 2015 to read updates. After reading everything and closing the tab, I decided to logged onto CEAC and OMG!

There's three N/A's! Is that a case complete? Or it could also mean a checklist?

I'm just just so happy right now, I'm rolling in bed. It's a great Thursday morning!

So excited to tell my husband. We'll call NVC to confirm when he gets home from work.

Hurray!

Received the IV Fee by email today, so I guess it should show up online in the next couple of days.

Fedex shows the package delivered yesterday, but haven't received any confirmation from NVC yet.

Hopefully they like everything we sent, the fast reviews continue, and we can get CC by the end of October
