How did you know that your account is locked ?

After you fill out the DS-261 (Choice of Agent), you usually call NVC to get them to review it. That's when you find out if it's locked or not. When I called to get it reviewed, the rep told me he can't do anything because it's locked and that I should call back the next day. I called 2 days after and the case was unlocked and the rep was able to review my DS-261.

Guys, I just woke up and saw N/A under Aos. Does that mean that my case is CC 99%? It is still night in USA right now so I cant call them, but I am excited to get confirmation from them.

The mailing address in the i864 form and in the ds260 form is the address of the agent we had chosen in the usa ?

My account was locked for months too. If you are not hearing from NVC, its an evidence. In my case, after paying for AOS fee, I didn't get any other instruction from NVC. Some NVC reps promised to review my AOS on phone several times which they couldn't. Some even lied that they did and which they never did. I was placed on supervisor review for 42 days after waiting for 2 months and still nothing again. I called again, the rep wanted to put my application on review again and I said no because there was no guarantee it would be reviewed. I requested to speak to a supervisor, luckily for me one was available. He unlocked it.

Now we are getting the error alert ( this case is in the process of termination ......)

We just got our case number and submitted the ds261 but there wasnt aos fee avialbe at that time !!!!

Nice. I received the answer from the Moscow embassy, saying that I am welcome to attend my mother's interview on October 23rd. I hope for the same thing here, in Tbilisi, Georgia, when my husband attends his interview later this autumn.

Hey guys. I called the NVC today to follow up on what the supervisor (Sylvia) said on Friday(she said she would request my case and look into it asap).

So I called and was informed that the supervisor has in fact requested the case and is currently waiting for it to get to her. That is good right? Another step forward?

I didn't get to talk to the supervisor today since she wasn't in yet when I called, but this is still something good right? I will call them again on Thursday and try to talk to the supervisor and get an update on the case.

A question on the new I-864: Did anyone have problems filling out some of the fields electronically? Specifically, items:

Part 2/ 2c: the open field

Just received an email from NVC stating my case is complete but NO interview date has been set.

Is anyone still waiting for interview at Lagos,Nigeria embassy?

How long before we get an interview?

Called NVC and clearly they don't know and told me they can't give an estimate of when my husbands interview will be scheduled.

I believe all of these fields are fields that update automatically on the form. But I believe they need JavaScript enabled to work which Acrobat might disable by default recently.

But for me those fields filled out automatically based on answers to other questions. Except for 2 /2c that one I think will enable when you click one of the check boxes for Apt, Ste or Flr.

The AOS fee is available before the review of the DS-261. It is done at the same time or soon after your DS-261 is available.

The IV fee won't be available till the DS-261 is reviewed.
