Yes. And since our spouses are all from small countries, hopefully, we can get our interview dates fast as well.

To no checklists and fast review! :joy:

Yes my husband's country is small too, not too many cases being filed from there!

But, it is still a West African country, so we hope for the best.

Guys. It has been 34 days since my scan date and still no CC. While I'm happy for people who got early CC's but at the same time it is so disheartening. I called 6 times yesterday to speak with a supervisor, and every time they weren't available. I don't know what to do. I am trying to be okay but it's so depressing.

Don't know what is happening with our case. We don't have any checklists yet, nothing. I've really lost all hope.

My scan date is September 3, 2015, yet case not completed. I called yesterday and I was told to wait for 30 days. Please is there any person whose scan date is the same as mine or have later date but with a case completed status?

I should be right there with you. I sent my docs overnight on the 22nd. Tracking number showed they signed for it on the 23rd.

But I am one of those randomly feeling nervous about nvc scanning the docs before I pay or complete the DS 260. I hope to do all of that next week.

I hope they send you the IV fee so you can pay and complete the DS-260 as soon as possible.

I've just received an email from NVC saying that our docs were received on the 23rd and to allow them 30 days for reviewing them. So, you should get the same email today as well. :-) Hoping for a fast CC for all of us!

(For the record, docs sent on the 22nd, received on the 23rd by NVC, email confirmation from NVC sent today, 25th)

Maybe try getting in touch with your Congress person and have them contact NVC? The reps on the phone have been saying up to 45-days review time due to an influx right now. I understand it's disheartening!

I've been calling the NVC to get our case number.. they say they got our documents on 9/10, and it might take 4/5 weeks. How do people get NVC and IIN number faste than that? Does calling every day helps or is there another way?

The NVC got our documents on 9/11 and I got my case number last night. I was calling everyday sometimes twice a day. Keep calling daily until you get case number.

Hello! if you look at my timeline, there are my dates I got information from NVC. Though NVC says 30-45 days from getting case to giving you numbers, but my husband decided to call them at least twice a week, Tuesday and Friday, and we got our numbers in two weeks! Some people call everyday if they can get through.

The same thing wi reviewing DS 261 - you may call them couple times a week to make them confirm it and let you pay your next fee or leave it and you may have things done after 4-5 weeks of awaiting.

Keep calling!

Simply continue calling every day. i don't think it helps, but when the case # is assigned, you will get to know it sooner than receiving an email from them. It shouldn't be 4/5 weeks, no way. 7-10 days is a regular timeframe.

Guys! I just got off the phone with a supervisor! Finally after like 10 phone calls to them. I talked to a supervisor called Sylvia! Explained our case to her and she told me she will look into it as soon as possible and will email me. I asked if I could call back next week and ask for updates on our case, and she said yes I can and that I can just call and ask for her now. She didn't give me a timeframe because she hadn't looked into our case yet, but assured me that it definitely will not take 42 days. This is good right?
