Yah i tried to research which was better and chose to do the regular mail and hoping that I can keep the 21 day trend going. My 21 days is right after the holiday though (..btw anyone know that NVC will be closed on Oct 12? I believe its a bank holiday) so Im hoping that doesnt slow it down... Montreal wait times seem to be around 7 weeks for interviews..

NVC will be closed October 12: it's Columbus Day in the US, and it's Canadian Thanksgiving, so no chance they're open.

NVC is pretty fast in one thing - withdrawing money from my account :D I just clicked "make the payment" in the morning yesterday, and in several hours the money was gone from my bank! Do they have a fear I can change my mind?

Hey everybody!!!

The NVC received our case from the USCIS on September 14th and called them but they told me that it takes 42 days for inputting our case into the system. So there's no case number yet !!

The NVC received our case from the USCIS on September 14th and called them but they told me that it takes 42 days for inputting our case into the system. So there's no case number yet !!

It took two weeks for me to get my case number.. give them until Friday and call again. :)

Hey! Did you try to check the USCIS website? For some cases it will say the date that the case was sent to NVC... I know tho that for most of the VJ members that status didn't change... You can give it a try, won't hurt :/

If not, maybe trying to call USCIS? Ask them if they can tell you when your case was physically sent..

It can take 7 days or more for it to reach to the NVC. Once they receive it, plan for 12 days or so for them to assign a case number. I could be sooner.

So i checked the ceac site just now and I saw that AOS fee where it said PAID before now says N/A... The IV fee and Application stil say compete and Paid. I will call NVC after work but, could that mean I'm getting a CC soon ??
