Once your aos/iv package has been delivered how many days after until they scan it in? If i call to check if it's been delivered will they scan it in any quicker?

For those who have submitted the new i-864. Did you put n/a or none in every single box that did not have anything to do with your case?

Or did you leave them blank?

Especially the last few pages which are all about an interpreter...I have left them completely blank.

Left them blank (I-864EZ) - part 7, 8, 9.

But:

A-number (beneficiary): none

ELIS number (beneficiary): none

A-number (petitioner): N/A

ELIS number (petitioner): N/A

Physical address: handwrote the address (which is the same as mailing)

Employer 2: none

Hello everyone!

I turned out to be a September NVC filer too and reading further info about next step I got a question, I`d be very happy for answer. My husband has to send an AOS pack to NVC with original I-864. Later at interview I also need to have that I-864 form original. So my husband needs to sign two copies and send one to me?

You will probably get an e-mail in 2 days saying they received your mail on 9/22. 9/22 will be your scan date.

I would start calling 9/24 to verify it was received.

That's great! But, I was wondering don't people who are filing in Canada have to do the submission of the documents via Email? Or is it only certain people who have to do it via email? Nevermind, I saw that people filing in Canada can chose to either do it Email Processing or Mail. :)

In Canada you can do email or regular mail. Not really sure which one is better and there really seems to be no stats about it now since all the threads on here that were tracking it seem to have died. No one is updating them anymore.

I did email but I am worried it will be slower. I sent it in two weeks ago and they can't even tell me if they got it. One rep told me to call back. When indid two more times last week and yesterday they told me they can't tell they got it till it starts getting reviewed. So I'm worried they didn't even get it correctly.

Trust me mail is way better and faster. I sent mine by email on july 10 and i had a checklist aug 18 of everything i sent however they missed my email even after they send me a letter stating that they received it with scan date n they told me to send everything again now I'm waiting with my new scan date sep 3

Yah i tried to research which was better and chose to do the regular mail and hoping that I can keep the 21 day trend going. My 21 days is right after the holiday though (..btw anyone know that NVC will be closed on Oct 12? I believe its a bank holiday) so Im hoping that doesnt slow it down... Montreal wait times seem to be around 7 weeks for interviews..

Anyone here got cc after sending a checklist in less then 30 days or exactly 30 days?

We didn't get a cc until 46 days after we responded to our checklist.

Well sadly I've already sent it all by email so not much choice now. Just have to hope for the best.

We got a checklist after 11 days doing EP. Assuming that if we hadn't had problems submitting the DS-260, we would have gotten the cc then. So unless things have slowed down majorly for EP in the last 6 weeks, I'd assume that it shouldn't take you too long! Good luck :)
