Hi there,

It looks like they take somewhere around 1 week-10 days at the low end to 2 weeks-20 days at the high end to receive from the service center. Mine took 21 days actually, but some people are luckier than that :) I called every 2 or 3 days after one week had passed. Of course now I have to wait at least another week for the case number to be assigned. There's always something else to wait for ;)

Thanks for replying. I think I should wait 1 more week to start calling then. Are you calling everyday now to ask for the case # and IID because NVC has received your case? Please update your timeline when you move steps forward at NVC, I am following your timeline from now :)

You can wait a week, or you could try on Thursday or Friday, if you can stand all the redials and the hold music while you wait for someone to talk to you! I like to check in before the weekend, if I can, just because I know I won't learn anything on Saturday or Sunday.

Have no fear, I will be updating as soon as anything happens :)

For those who have submitted the new i-864. Did you put n/a or none in every single box that did not have anything to do with your case?

Or did you leave them blank?

Especially the last few pages which are all about an interpreter...I have left them completely blank.

I left them blank. Really couldn't bother with the extra writing.

my scan date is 13 Aug. my husband called nvc yesterday to enquire when would we get a case complete. They said the paper work seems all good and they are waiting for interview slots. They can't really say when.well when my hubby told them others who filed around the same time got a cc. The nvc representative had no clue about it. waiting to get a cc soon!

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

Don't worry about it. As long as you put an answer where there needs to be one you'll be ok. I got my CC in 17 days and I left them blank.
