My DS-261 was reviewed over the phone today. The rep said, IV fee will be abailable for paying in a week. I guess, it should be sooner than that, right?

CR-1 Visa

I-130 Sent : 2015-07-10 - sent from abroad, auto-expedite

I-130 NOA1 : 2015-07-14

I-130 Approved : 2015-08-13 (30 days)

Received by NVC: 2015-09-02 (in 20 days after the approval) - no email notification, info obtained over the phone

AoS fee paid: 2015-09-15

DS-261 reviewed over the phone:2015-09-17

Agent registration email: 2015-09-18

IV fee available: 2015-09-18

IV fee paid: 2015-09-22

IV fee showed paid: 2015-09-23 right before the end of the working day at NVC - at almost midnight EST.

AoS and IV package received: 2015-09-23

DS-260 filled out 2015-09-24

Now let's get some patience for 3 weeks and hope CC will come without any delays :luv:

Approved!!!

Visa issued: 2015-12-07

Social Security card arrived only after the visit to SS office, on 01/20

Green Card arrived: 2016-01-27

From NOA-1 to the interview - 141 days (4 months and 18 days)

Congratulations. I can only imagine how happy you are. Especially after almost figuring out what NVC has been up to lately with interview scheduling.

Could it be that we are going back to the shorter document reviews.

It won't be long, if it takes a week then something is a miss. When you get the invoice it may take a day or two before you can pay it.

I talked with NVC today and they told that i have some issue with household size on I864 form. I double checked the form which i sent. Everything looks perfect in form. Is it possible that they made a mistake? They were telling me that I should be receiving checklist in 2 days and resubmit that form and we will review it again.

I talked with NVC today and they told that i have some issue with household size on I864 form. I double checked the form which i sent. Everything looks perfect in form. Is it possible that they made a mistake? They were telling me that I should be receiving checklist in 2 days and resubmit that form and we will review it again.

Do you think maybe you should get a supervisor?

My request for expeditious processing was denied today. I wonder, if it makes sense to re-apply? May be, next time we will be luckier...

You case is moving very fast (relatively speaking as you may say not fast enough lol). Seriously your case is about to beat Usain Bolt for the record. Hopefully you have your items ready to send to the NVC.

I don't think I would recommend reapplying unless you have some medical item.

I tried to get an update on my case and the NVC wouldn't tell me. How were you able for them to give you an update on your case?

I assume you didn't count your spouse twice and hopefully NVC didn't either.

I am gonna hate the word "PAID"..... everyday looking at it and wishing to be changed to N/A.......lol

20 days today since the scan date...... waiting for CC.....

Yes, I agree, i don't have the right to complain. Our case was auto-expedited by USCIS, since I am a USC, residing abroad. but for the same reason, every day for us, especially for me, counts as a year :D Also, for the same reason I expected, NVC would expedite us as well, but alas...

I called NVC. The representative says that my case number will be available after 35days :( is that true??? ???

Once you know its been receieved itd start calling after 5 days mine somehow was receieved in 4 days! And then id start calling every 2-3 days if you really want. The average seems to be about 12 days after they receive your case. They'll always tell you whatever theyre doing will take way longer than it most likely will, doesnt mean you cant call back and ask again :)

Today I received the mail from NVC saying they have received our AOS + IV Package the 14th.
So the countdown started 3 days ago :)

Was having the same problem yesterday. Try a different browser or empty your cookies! Worked for me! :secret:
