Hi VJers !

Looking the tracking number of Fedex, NVC have received our AOS + IV Package today morning :D

I wonder if the CEAC changes the status part of "Civil Documents" (it shows "N/A" currently) so we would know they would start with the reviewing of our cases....

Do you know how is????

NVC will send you an e-mail probably Wednesday saying they received your documents on 9/14/15. The e-mail will probably say give them 30 days to review the documents.

They were doing 16, 17, 20, and 21 day reviews but it seems there is a standstill.

I hope they get back on track.

What about on the actual I-864? Would that cause an issue? I wrote mine digitally because we did EP but what about someone sending in by mail, should they still write it on every page of the I-864?

Still unlikely to be an issue. However, if it's something that someone is too concerned about, they can write the case number on a post-it note and affix the note to the form.

I completed the DS-261 & paid the AOS fees on August 31, 2015. I am still waiting for the AOS to show PAID & for the DS-261 to be reviewed.

I will be electronically filing so I need to pay the IV fee, submit the DS-260 and get the IV Cover Sheet to submit with the supporting documents. I also can't send my AOS documents because they want all documents sent at the same time.

I called a few days ago and they said it was still locked and to wait until the beginning of next week. How long should I wait before I take your suggestion and ask for a supervisor?

Thank you,

Mine was locked for 4 months and they were telling me exactly what they are telling you now. Its only your supervisor that can unlock it. In my case, the customer reps. put so many notes for them. My application was also put under supervisor's review, the 42 days exhausted after the initial normal 2 months review. It was later unlocked after I called and insisted on speaking with a supervisor. My call was later transferred to one who claimed to be the assistant supervisor. He unlocked it immediately with an apology. Within one week, I got an instruction to pay for IV.

Hi guys!! Just an update on our case. My husband sent the AOS and IV packages last Sept. 8. NVC received both packages on the 10th. Hubby got an email notification on the 12th about NVC receiving the packages ( date on the email is Sept.10, which I'm thinking is our scan date). I will be praying for all of us having the same timelines!! Let's us keep each other updated! Hopefully, we will be having CC's soon. God bless us all!!!

This is against you at all, so let me start by saying congratulations to you!!

With that being said, it completely outrages me that I have a scan date of 8/11 and I'm still waiting.... This is so stupid. Doesn't make sense nor is it fair...

Wow! That's just 16 working days since you got your scan date!! I am so happy for you. Hopefully me and the hubby will not wait too long! With the pace that NVC is at, I have learned to expect the unexpected!!

Congratulations again, keep us updated on any developments!!

I completely understand what you are saying I was feeling the same way ..people getting their cc in 17 - 20 days...you should get yours this week.

I really hope so... I'm becoming very discouraged. I just want my wife here with me already.

Thank you,

My AOS finally shows PAID on the 9th business day after paying.

Still no IV invoice so I will be calling tomorrow morning as soon as they open to have them go over the DS-261 or I will ask for a supervisor if they still say it is locked. I need to get the IV fee paid so I can submit the DS-260 online and email the I-864, I-864A & all the supporting documents.

Wish me luck!
