My husband sent all documents in one package as advised except for the police report. I didn't send him my police report before he sent out the first package. UPSP tracking showed that it was received on the 13th of August while the police certificate that was sent separately was received on the 17th of August.

My scan date shows 17th of August which was the date the police report was received.

The checklist mentioned everything except the police report.

My husband was abl to speak with a third rep yesterday and demanded he should be transferred to a supervisor. The rep advised he send refresh documents will take less than 30 days rather than being transferred to a supervisor which will take

about 42 days.

I'm sorry they lost your documents.

NVC reps come up with these crazy deadlines of 42, 35, 30 days. I think they use it mostly to discourage people.

I managed to talk to a supervisor yesterday (after 2 failed attempts, though).

Usually it takes 3days for them to scan the documents,so the 17th scan did not include the police report i think. However, i don't think they have lost your police report as long as you included your document cover sheet with barcode. CSR will tell you all sorts of general info..

After 10 pm what time zone?

10pm Central time, but I've gotten through at earlier times as well, after 8pm

Yep, call a few times a day, it should be assigned in 7 days i think.

From time that case # is assigned to case complete, it can be done from 30-40 days if you execute all the steps correctly and stay persistent throughout. Good luck!

What's the current wait time for getting case completed at NVC after scan date? I see a lot people getting their CC before their 21 - 30 day mark is over....guess NVC is working really fast now :D

I thought so too but alas, I seemed to have missed the rapid review boat.

Saw a couple 17 day review, some 20, and some 21.

I'm on day 29 now with no CC yet. The NVC is not a very "consistent" place with completing cases, some people get it in less than 20 days, some get it after 60 days.... Doesn't make sense.

Happened to me a few times as well! Once you've put in any waiting past 30 minutes, you feel like you owe it to yourself to stay on the line and get through...not to mention the Skype credit you've already invested! I know how frustrating it is! But keep calling! Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes even when you call the first minute they open-they keep you on hold for 20 minutes!

Luck of the draw, I suppose!
