Hi,

Yes, your husband can fill out the form for you... he just has to have all the information it is asking, he will need all of your personal information including DOB and Addresses of your parents. Go to the website http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_Visa_Application.html and download the sample form, and go over all the questions it is asking and provide your husband with the information. :)

Hi all,

So I have good and bad news.

Good news is that I checked CEAC's website and I had 3 NAs. I called NVC and they confirmed I have a CC. Only 10 days after scan date, I can't possibly believe it!

The bad news is that my daughter's case hasn't changed. They said that our cases won't be sent to the embassy until her case is approved too. And there is nothing I can do but wait.

So, in the end, my CC does not matter... at all. I'm waiting for hers.

Wow, yours has been a while, too. Should be very soon then!

I've called twice, because there are those lucky few people who get their case number in like 8-10 days, so it's worth checking, right? but the lady always says "Do you have the letter in front of you? what does the second paragraph say?" as though I didn't bother reading it... "Yes ma'am, I'm aware of that, but sometimes it happens faster than that, so I just wanted to check whether you have received it yet."

I was hoping I could get something done before the long weekend, but I guess not.

So strange they didn't put your wife with daughter. Is your daughter a minor?

Yea Congrats!!!! That was super fast.

Even though that whole locked situation slowed you down, at least 1 is done. I'm sure your daughter's is coming soon.

Hi. I applied together with my daughter, but in order to follow USCIS rules, we had to send separate forms.

For the NVC, because I had a police report missing, I actually sent her documents through email one day before mine.

Everything about her case took longer than mine. Her case was locked for 10 days at DS-261, we only got it fixed through a supervisor. She's eight, so I can't really understand why everything about her case is hard, while mine in reality is a lot more complicated (I am divorced, have lived in many different places so I had to send several police reports...).

It simply makes no sense.

Don't worry about that, I called the NVC so much that if they were punishing people who called too much, I would probably get my CC by December...

My husband did call NVC 3 times. First to ask if NVC has received the package or not, second was after DS-260 was submitted, and last one was about the 'full time employee' as job title on I-864ez.

But maybe more. I can only remember those three calls.
