It can take 7 days or more for it to reach to the NVC. Once they receive it, plan for 12 days or so for them to assign a case number. I could be sooner.

Thanks! its just soooo frustrating that my case is approved on sep.1st and still NVC has not received it yet.. seeing and hoping that it would just be 2 weeks or less according to other timelines. i guess im just out of luck here at NVC process <_<

Every time I call NVC I get hung up on because they are busy. Help?

You have to continue calling, there was a time where I had to call and hang up about 100 times! Or, try calling towards closing time...they close at midnight Eastern Time, or early in the morning. Hope that helps! Would you kindly fill out your timeline, as it helps us all. Thanks!

FYI They stop taking calls at 11:30pm EST. The message that says that they are closed is what comes on if calling at exactly 11:30pm.

I have gotten through by calling at exactly 11:15pm after a few back to back tries.

Our IV Fee changed from IN Process to PAID just now and I just sbmitted the DS260. We are still awaiting confirmation from NVC that our package has been received, we sent via priority mail over the weekend. Hoping to get a quick review and case complete soon in keeping with the trend on here so far. All the best to all of us still waiting and going through NVC stage.

Yes. Mine took 15 days. My checklist was for marriage certificate.

Anyone here got cc after sending a checklist in less then 30 days or exactly 30 days?

Can't wait for the IV fee to show paid... Feeling nervous, for the IV package has been received by NVC yesterday, but the IV application hasn't been filled out yet... Do you think it makes sense to call them and ask?

They will scan it, as it track it in the their database but I don't think they will get to yours to review before you finish with the DS-260.

I have an interview scheduled for next Tuesday & as I was going through my documents I noticed that the AOS we originally sent in has been expired since 03/31/2015. When we sent the document in we were told we could still use the form but I'm reading online I need to take an updated affidavit of support to my interview? Just looking for a little guidance as I am now stressing, & am unsure as to if we need to redo the form or not. I apologize if this isn't where I'm supposed to ask this question
