Concurrent filing of I-485, I-131 and I-765 - attachments

I'm just about ready to file for AOS, but of course these little nuggets of doubt pop up... I know I don't need to attach another copy of the i-94 to the i-131 and i-765 as I'm filing concurrently with the i-485, which has the i-94 attached. But - the instructions for the i-765 say to attach a copy of my passport and (K1) visa. Do I still need to do this when these have been attached to the i-485, or will the different case handlers (I'm assuming) have access to all the documentation I've filed with the i-485?

They are all mailed together, but are also all separate forms. Provide what is required for each form, even if another form required the same documentation.

The I-94 is not required for the I-765 or I-131.

I-131 instructions state you need an official ID The biometrics page of your passport works for this. Proof of current status, and you can use a copy of your K-1 visa and entry stamp from your passport. Also, 2 passport photos.

For the I-765, you are filing as an adjustment applicant, category (c )(9 ), and you need copy of passport biometrics page as ID and 2 passport photos.

Follow-up question - does this mean that the copy of the marriage certificate also needs to be attached to the i-765 and i-131 as well, as proof of my name change (I want my married name on my EAD card)?

The instructions do not ask for it, but some people have been getting RFEs for the EAD/AP asking for proof of legal name. I would include a copy with each, just to be on the safe side, and make sure each copy is placed with the form it goes with. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/563646-rfe-on-i-131-and-i-765-concerning-my-new-marrried-name-why/

We didn't attach any additional copies for the I-131 and I-765 when my wife file for AOS. Some choose to go the other route to be safe.
