Affidavit of Support - Joint Taxes but No W2

My wife has petitioned both of her parents. However, she has not worked in the past 5 years, we do taxes together married (joint), and she has no W2s. Nonetheless, she is using a joint sponsor that earns enough, my brother. Since my salary is close to nothing, we've decided not to use my income so I don't have to fill out I-864A, or use my W2s.

1. Since she is putting tax figures for the last 3 years, the latest 2014 photocopy of tax returns, but no W2s since she didn't work. Is it an issue if she doesn't put W2s?

2. Should I fill out I-864A even though my brother earns enough to fill out I-864? One reason is because we want to avoid confusing and excessive paperwork.

3. Am I missing something critical here?

Any thoughts, experiences, and opinions will be highly appreciated.
