I received my NOA2 Aug 24th and my Fiance's name is wrong. I do believe I submitted the form wrong when I sent it in ;-(

my Fiance use two last names his mother maiden name - then his fathers last name so example his name would be

John Doe Smith

They put John D. Smith on the NOA2 -

how can I get this corrected? I can submit an updated I129 with his two last names in the surname field and I also have the correct form G325A

Should I have him address it at the interview since we are past the initial approval? And it seem impossible to get NVC on the line?

I wonder how they missed this when I had his documents in the file - it clearly shows he doesnt have a middle name or initial.

Hello,

Almost the same thing happened to me. They misspelled my name (the petitioner) so i called TSC, they put an inquiry to correct my name but my case has already been sent to NVC so I was told I have to deal with NVC on my own, so I called and they say when they have my case number assigned, to call back and send them an email with a copy of the first page of my passport so they can have that corrected. I would strongly suggest you call both TSC and NVC to have it corrected ☺

my case has already left TSC so no point in calling them right..

It is not my name that is incorrect it is my fiance's name - so I would need to submit a new G325A- with his signature. I am guessing. Wow what an awesome delay I am going to have. I feel like not saying anything till he gets tot he interview and provides an updated 325A there to have it updated. It's only a single letter. lol

I don't know what to do at this point. I call NVC everyday and still no case.

They use to say 35 days but now they are saying 45. Thank god my application is there because it seems like their case loads are starting to pick up as well. This how process is a joke
