So what happens during an interview if your medical appointment hasn't been completed yet, but you have your appointment to complete it a week after the interview?

Will we just be put in AP and then take the results into the embassy once we are done?

Yes you would be in AP until your medical is ready to present. However there are some embassies they will not allow the interview to go until you have all your documents. So it just depends. Go to the embassy regardless. They will tell you what to do.

Thanks dwheels for your reply. Would it be wise to reschedule the interview if an available date opens up that would be after the medical? We schedule interview appointments online and there is an option to reschedule, there just aren't any openings available at the moment.

*UPDATE*

We had the interview. Apparently we were not the only ones not able to schedule the medical before the interview.

We are in AP until the medical is completed

Yea I tried to warn you ahead of time. My wife barely got a medical appointment 1 day before her interview.

Good luck!

It is what it is. You can't schedule the medical without the interview. Why play the waiting game when you can still do the interview without the medical. So at least our interview is complete.

Is your fiancé still on AP? I was wondering if they have been updating his case lately.

We will be in AP at least until the medical which we haven't completed yet. They updated his status on ceac the same day he finished his interview.
