adm Processing

Hello Fellow VJers

I am applying via k1 visa. I started the process back in Jan 2006. I got my noa2 within 3 months everything was going smoothly until after my fiances interview in chennai in May. He rec'd the dreaded "ADM Process" blue sheet 221g. We will contact you when processing is complete. It has been 9 months now. During the waiting period the consualte kept his passport for 3 months and returned it with a second 221 g letter, then DOS conducted security clearances which took 3 months to complete. The consulate then asked Fiance for udted police rport and medical report since 9 months had passed since the first police and medical rports were done. Again they returned passport with 3rd adm process letter. When you email consulate they just say case not complete under processing. I feel like we take 1 step forward then 2 steps back, it is very discouraging. I have never been thru such an experience like this before. Is there anyone else with the same situ as above. I really would appreciate if someone can give me some hope.

i am currently in admin proc in delhi.

what have the 221g papers stated? i assume there was some additional information required to submit the embassy.

my husband went for his interview jan 12th. we also got a 221g and they requested a list of nonrelative wedding guests. we submitted that and now we got another 221g that requests phone numbers of the list submitted. so in my case it appears they are questioning our marriage. i too am discouraged. i waited for 5 weeks after we originally submitted the list of wedding guests, only to find out they wanted the phone numbers. seems to me if they had thier ####### together they could have asked this the first time.

can you call someone at the embassy? do they have a general info line? better yet, does chennai have a window you can go to for general questions (they have this in delhi). i call at least once a week and get a case update over the phone.

i cant imagine going through this for 9 months.

are you living with your spouse or are you separated?
