Even when they get it, it can take 2-4 weeks for them to look at it.

I was told to wait 4-6 weeks when i contacted NVC today about my case.

But for her to not even see it recieved when on Friday they could tell me that it was at least recieved is what I'm worried about ... I'm going to just call again tomorrow!

Hello all....our case was sent out to the us embassy in Bogota, Colombia on Oct 30th and when i look it up on the webpage the case status says ready for interview, but we habe yet to receive any notification about an interview...would anyone know how long it takes to get an actual notification when case is already in your countries US embassy??? Thanks in advance for any helpful answers...

Hello Sunny! Your NOA-2 is just a day ahead of mine. I called NVC this morning too, and I was told they just received my case on Friday, Nov 6th. She told me of the standard spiel to wait 2-4 weeks before a case number is assigned.. But since I live the #thuglife (LOL), I'll keep calling everyday starting tomorrow! ?

Yes, call the NVC already.. They may have received your case too. ? I called at about 11:00am today and I waited for like 30 minutes to speak to a person. If your fiancé does not have too much time in his hand, then call at 7:05am or 11:30pm (EST). Good luck, I can feel we're in the same batch! ?

Does anyone know if "ready" means that our case is actually at the embassy now? I know they say you're supposed to wait for "packet 3" (Mexico) to schedule everything but I've read that you can go ahead and do it once it's at the embassy if you allow enough time to receive the letter before your interview.

My fiancé just woke me up with a call to say we got approved!!! I was so happy I cried. Within 3 days of sending our RFE! Thank you CSC for this quick processing! And thank you guys here for all the support!!! :D
