I was not able to upload pic my to DS-160.I was able to submit it without a pic. Do you think I will be able to retrieve it and then edit it by uploading my pic?

Yes you can retrieve it and upload your picture between now and the interview. If you continue to have problems, enlist the help of someone else as this is a very important and required document.

I got my RFE hardcopy. They just want a letter of intent to marry from beneficiary (my fiancé ) I can do that! Have it already actually! :joy: . I did not see that they required TWO until the visa journey website. Don't know if I missed it or if the UScis info didn't specify. Oh well, I am thankful it's just that.

Question:

1) Does it matter if I send a scanned version of his letter of intent, or MUST it be the "Wet ink" version? I don't want to waste time waiting for him to mail it from Toronto to me.

2) They gave me an envelope that is already addressed, but I want to send it via express. Will it be an issue if I use the post office express envelope ?

3) Did any send in additional information beyond what was requested on the RFE? I am debating sending more photos and some income info like my friend did, just to be safe. Because I was told the RFE is needed before they "consider a ruling" on my case. Sounds like they have not sat down to peruse the documents and *could* find evidence still lacking or not be convinced.

Thanks in advance!!

1. Wet ink

2. I didn't get an RFE but I would prolly send it in the envelope that they sent so that whoever receives it knows the nature of the envelope.

3. Send what they ask for. If they only asked for the Letter of Intent then that means they're satisfied with everything else. Sending more things just gives them unnecessary stuff to look over. Save the extra evidence for the interview.

1) they are asking for Wet Ink

2) You can use your own envelope, just be sure to use USPS! (not UPS, nor FedEx) Delivery address is a PO box, only USPS can deliver to PO box.

3) Yes, you can send additional info as long as it proves intention to marry! If you read the RFE carefully, it doesn't have to be a letter! It can be any info that proves your intentions. (Letter is just either to produce)

I called the NVC on Friday and the really nice guy told me they had recieved it just that day, and to call periodically for the case number. Now I called this evening to see if the case number was assigned, and the woman says she doesn't see it yet and to wait because it can take up to 4 weeks. How weird is that! I'm really hoping it was a momentary glitch in the system!

Even when they get it, it can take 2-4 weeks for them to look at it.

I was told to wait 4-6 weeks when i contacted NVC today about my case.
