At NVC now for about 9-10 days. It's tough watching others come and leave after you. I know it's not long being there, but once again who picks and chooses which ones to send out and which ones to just let sit around? Just needed to rant a bit... Thanks. I pray for strength for each of us.

More checks are done at NVC so some persons stay there longer than other. I've read on the forum where persons have been stuck at NVC for weeks (not saying that will happen to of course, just saying it's definitely not done in order).

I already emailed the Montreal consulate to ask about extending the noa2 validity and they promptly responded an hour later stating the only way to request the extension is at your interview with the consular.

Second point is that you will be sent your package three After the ready status have been updated twice. That means two dates on the ready status. At that point you may email your package three. You will then receive package four and can book your interview. What was said before about it just saying ready means it's processed is not true.

The email:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email!

Please note that the I-129F petition revalidation is at the discretion of the Consular Officer at the time of interview. The applicant should present a recent letter of intent to marry within 90 days from the U.S. Petitioner.

Yes, you must pay for both yourself and child a fee. Lastly your child must attend the interview with you.

We hope that this information is useful.

Best regards,

Got an e-mail today from the consulate in Moscow. They are transferring my papers from Moscow to Warsaw for interview. The thing is that for Belarusians is always everything complicated, as our Minsk consulate is not working on all types of visas. So you never know which other one will process it. NVC sent it to Moscow, but they don't do it for us((

Now it will much more time, as I need to get also schengen visa first just to be able to go to Poland, haha))

2 interviews for 2 visas, how nice is that? Rrrr, angry!!! :ranting:

I'm so sorry to hear that! So frustrating. I think things will go quicker soon.

My fiancé was going to have her medical exam in Minsk and interview in Warsaw. She already has a Schengen Visa and I am thinking it might be easier and faster to do both in Warsaw. We have to decide soon as our case became ready at the consulate in Warsaw today. I hope things move smoothly in Warsaw.

She sends love from Brest.

Is it safe to say that most (if not all) September filers (on this forum) have received NOA2s, RFE or some other form of decision from USCIS? It seems like October filers are getting their approvals now.

I haven't been checking the October filers but I would say most Septembers have had their NOA2's or RFE's yes.. the early Septembers are at NVC stage or schedule interviews already!

I need some advice please. My fiance is trying to complete here DS-160 and it wants here to upload a photo. She is having trouble getting a photo to upload. she is having to use a computer at an internet cafe because she does not have a computer or printer. Does anyone know if the picture is required or can she complete the application without it and just take here 2X2 photos to her interview?

So, I had trouble to with it. What I did was: scan a passport picture. Then I edit the picture here: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/photos.htmlin Photo Tool.

And the system accepted the photo. You need to upload the picture. It is mandatory.
