Just woke up to an approval notice!!!! Aaaaah I thought it was a dream!! I never expected to hear anything till maybe next week because I didn't think they worked on weekends. I read the email like 10 times to make sure I wasn't dreaming haha.

Hello, sorry. Have a question. I have seen, on the first page of this thread, "going to California." Are you lot referring to the paperwork, or some of us have to travel to California? I sent my stuff to Texas and was sent to Cali. I am in NC. Am I supposed to be going to Cali at some point?

Also, what is all this about the month people filed on? I read posts but could not figure it out.

"Going to CSC/California" just means that your paperwork was routed there for adjudication/review. You won't have to travel to California unless you want to go on vacation!

This forum, K1 September filers, is a forum for those of us that sent our petitions to USCIS in September. It allows us to share our experiences as we progress through the progress. It's also a big support group to help us all deal with the stress of the process. We can learn from everyone's posts and follow their progression. Did you try checking it thru their website myUSCIS or the case tracker app? Me and my fiance didn't get any notification from email or SMS, just knew about it from their site.

Hopefully you'll get yours within next week or sooner =)

we are also still waiting for NOA2...

We got a RFE last week. They received our response on Friday. So we are also still (back) in the waiting game.
