We received our NOA2 on October 2 and called NVC for the first time at 6:00 AM sharp Central Standard Time (7:00 AM EDT, the time the phone lines open). I was on hold for about 10 minutes before connecting with a woman who told me that our case had been assigned a number and entered into their system just the Friday previously. When I checked the CEAC case status webpage, I saw that the documents were en route to Taiwan yesterday (Monday, October 26). Through a previous filer's post, I checked the dhl-usa page and see ETA in Taipei by the end of the day Thursday.

Don't give up hope! Things can move along smoothly. Getting the NOA2 is the hardest part (I think and hope!).

Makes me want to call NVC again. How many of you have the will power to just wait a few more days or would you call⁉️⁉️ Gives me hope though that more and more NOA2's around my date have their #'s. Blessings.

Hang in there! Have you checked to see when the last time it was 'touched'? Prayers for a good week for all of us.

The last time mine was touched was the 29th of Sept (which is also the same date that we got the NOA2). I'm really hoping to hear something this week.

I think CSC is getting a bit "overwhelmed" now because all the cases are being routed there .... This was bound to happen eventually I guess. I'm hoping that this week brings more NOA2s.

Ok ok very gud! I was going to call on Fridays. ?. Another is at the NVC today that got approval same day as us. I will call either tonight or in am. You hang in there too!!! ???

It might be that we met on Okcupid but It could be something totally different. I have no clue really. Ive checked case numbers around me an all the cases around me got a RFE. None got approved.

Finally heard some good news! Been waiting for this since Monday :D Seeing your timeline, we processed our first but it doesn't matter. Case to case basis like they said and yeah CSC processing time is 5mos. I'm happy you finally got your approval. Congrats :dance:
