omg.. I just realized that out of 14 timelines I've been following, there were only 3 left (4 including me) waiting for the approval.. I hope it's today

I feel your pain - I had to stop looking at the timelines I'm following because they were getting approvals before me, even though I sent my I-129F application before them! I'm happy for all the approved peoples on here, don't get me wrong - it's fantastic news, and I love being able to share experiences on here, but it can get frustrating when you're days after the estimated date! FINGERS CROSSED OVER NIGHT DaNnE.

I'm happy to see all the updates and approvals. Congrats to everyone!

I'm out of the country visiting my fiance but as soon as I return I'll definitely be calling the NVC. Hopefully by then we will have a case number and be ready to schedule our interview.

Hello everyone,

First time posting on here but I have been following all of your journeys .

My fiancé phoned the NVC today as I saw that some of you with the same NOA2 date as us of Oct 2nd mentioned the NVC had already received your petitions. They have ours, not sure when it arrived, some point last week I guess, probably early to mid-week as they had already assigned us our case number which I now have! So excited!! Once I see that it has left the NVC I will call to book my medical and it should be with the embassy by the time they receive our case!

I'm a little nervous about the interview process! From what I have read, the London embassy seems to be really strict! I am seeing my fiancé in 10 days and I cannot wait! Miss him so much, but hoping to have my interview in early Jan and fly over mid Jan!

Anyway, good luck to everyone I look forward to sharing future happiness with you all!

I took a last minute trip to see my fiancé and I just checked the mail at (soon to be) OUR house! AND VOILA! NOA2 in the mail! Couldn't be happier. Now we are trying to get together all the other forms we need for the next step.

does the NVC tracker update immediately? mine still says "at NVC" even though when I called Friday the lady said it was going to be sent out that day. Did I get lied to?

I'm sure this has been covered before on this thread but a couple questions, after receiving your NOA2 hard copy, when is the best time to start contacting NVC? Should you start contacting them or wait for a letter in the mail like the hard copy states? It's been 12 days since receiving our NOA2 hard copy and just want to make sure we're not pointlessly waiting around when we could be doing something else! Thank you

NVC received our case two weeks after the NOA2 date (received our hard copy a couple of days after), and that is the trend that I have seen so far. I will start calling on the first week though just in case they process yours sooner, then maybe every after day after that if they haven't received your case yet. In the meantime, start gathering the documents you'll need for the medical and the interview. Best of luck!

Calling the NVC is rather painful to sit on hold forever just to be told that they don't have anything in their system yet. Sighs, must be patient but hopefully they will have it in their system by the end of the week. I see all the Oct 2nd guys getting their nvc cases so hopefully we get ours soon too.
