I sent out my package September 8th but I didn't receive NOA1. Then I got approved September 24th and received the hard copy in mail three days later. I called NVC today and they said that they received my case today and to wait a few weeks to receive a case number. Really happy about that! But what about the NOA1 do I really need it?

According to the site, you have to mail your request. I'm going to send a letter to my fiancée with her other paperwork and she can take it to the interview. If they make the extension on the spot instead of adding 4 more years additional i would have her wait and she can submit it near the end of January via the mail.

First of all nobody was ignoring you. Some posts just come up to your eyes, other ones no. For example sometimes there are so many updates on the thread that I just give a look to the recent ones.

Anyways, I believe you should contact USCIS this is the number for assistance that I found. 1-800-375-5283

Say your problem. For sure there is not wrong address, because you receive your NoA2 in the mail, if I understood right. I know the NoA2 is more important than NoA1, but better have everything about I-129f petition, you know. Just in case.

I would say no. .the NOA1 purpose is to only notify you they have receive your application and it's processing.. You already have confirmations of steps far ahead of the NOA1, so I do not see any reason to worry about it
