-NOA1 and NOA2, copy or original?

-copy of i12F petition

I would say to follow the K-1, but for example Italian embassy doesn't want a I-129f copy nor W2 nor transcript.

I suggest you to email the embassy and ask.

They just want I-134, with a personal copy of tax refund, original birth certificate of petitioner and beneficiary, and that's it.

As soon as NVC assigns us case number we can go to the CEAC website and fill out the DS 160 application, pay the visa fee, and make our interview appointment?

Or do we have to wait until the embassy contacts my fiance to do all of that?

That changes from country to country.

For example my Embassy will contact me as soon as they will receive my case with the Packet 3 (btw I have already all documents ready to go). I emailed my embassy for being sure about it.

I would suggest you maybe to get in contact with other ppl who are of your country, or contact the embassy that will have more information for you

On a separate note, no sign of my NOA1 hard copy yet! Got an email on the 24th saying that they'd received our application on the 21st.

Is this an issue???

We'll be interviewing at the Bahamas embassy and that country's page here on VJ isn't very informative. But I will look up some contact information and try to contact the Bahamas embassy.

Hello all,

I just got signed up with VJ yesterday cause I really find all the posts here very helpful.. I have a question regarding my BC and G-325A.

My BC (as well as my siblings' BC and my parents' MC) contains my mother's "baptismal name" which we eventually discovered that it was different from the name on her birth records. After that discovery, we then follow the name on her birth records as well as filling up my G-325A. Will I be questioned on its discrepancy during interview at the USEM? Should the affidavit be enough to support our claim even if her original birth certificate is not available anymore on our local civil registrar and NSO so we just have the late registration of her birth?

I received the hard copy of our NOA2 in the mail today. Says that it will take 2-4 weeks from receipt for the NVC to process and forward to the appropriate Embassy or Consulate. It also says that the NVC will contact me with the case number and notification that the petition has been forwarded to the Embassy/Consulate. If that is the case, what would be the reason for me calling them every day in a few weeks to get that case number from them? Also, is it okay to wait until it is forwarded to the Embassy to start gathering the financial information? I know things like paycheck stubs need to be very current when received. Unlike most people who are trying to get this done as quickly as possible, we want to try and time things right. I am expecting that we should receive notification that the NVC has forwarded the petition by the end of this month. It would be really great if there i adequate leeway for us to schedule the interview around the first weekend of December as that would be convenient for her to go and do that just prior to returning to work as she will be completing her nursing board exam course and exam in the last week of November. December is good timing because the visa is valid for 6 months and we are planning for her to arrive middle of May so that would have her arriving somewhere around the 5 to 5.5 month mark. I know that is cutting it close, but as long as it is still valid, there shouldn't be an issue. I just need to be sure I get the petition renewed by the end of January and then it will also be valid until end of May, just in time for her to arrive.

Really starting to wonder why we havent heard from CSC yet. how many of you with a similar NOA1 Date are on here? Am i freaking out way too early?

dont get me wrong i am certainly super happy for everyone who's received their NOA2 already.

Our case Status is still 'case was received'.
